CHAPTER 1: The Betrayal

Raine's POV,

I was standing on the ground
See those inches figures with cheery sound
Holding hand and walking bound
Jealous I felt, happiness they found.

"Hi besty!!!"

Nakangiting bati ko nang makita ko si Jam sa tapat ng kotse ko after I parked and went out of my car.

"Oh, ang ganda ng araw mo."

Pagpansin niya sa ngiti ko at sabay kaming naglakad. Jam is my bestfriend since high school.

"Hi Raine."

Bati sakin ni Marcus- he is my classmate. Guys greeted me when they saw me. Friendly kasi ako sa kanila.

"Kamusta yung family bonding mo sa pamilya ni Bryan?"

"Hi Jacob."

I greeted him back with a smile at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad.

Tears marathon in my face
My two foot in the same ground stays
Seconds past I found myself in daze
Witnessing the loosing of my ace.

Tanong sakin ni Jam. His referring to my boyfriend slash second besty Bryan.

"Okay naman besty. Sobrang bait ng mom niya sakin pati na din yung daddy at younger sister niya."

Kwento ko naman sa kanya. Last week before mag end yung summer at magback-to school I spend a weekend with Bryan's family.

"Parang bawi naman sila ni Bryan."

"Anu ka ba besty, maba-it kaya si Bryan."

Pagtatanggol ko naman sa boyfriend ko at tumigil naman si Jam sa paglalakad at hinarap ako. Ngumiti ako sa kanya.

I run a mile with tears hidden in rain
Those bright faces in my eyes stain
Those sweet smiles cause my gloomy croons
I let him wrapped me in loons.

"Hi Raine."

Bati sakin ni Martin-one of the boys sa campus na laging bumabati sakin.

"Hi."

I greeted back and smile.

"Mabait pala ha!!!"

Sarcastic na sabi niya saka may nginuso sa likod ko at taas ng kilay. Napatingin din ako sa likod ko.

I was stuck and a sudden feeling comes into my heart that makes my breathing hard.

It feels like my walls turned down and I was attacked and betrayed, betrayed by my own warrior.

I saw Lorry and Bryan kissing passionately on the field.

Lumapit sila sakin na nakangiti ng tagumpay at sweet pa sila ah.

Gloomy croons are my cries
Tall trees, roses, and butterflies
I was in the kingdom of fantasies and lies
Where our dream and plan lies and dies.

"Hi Raine."

The bitch greeted me with a devilish smile at parang napukaw yata ako sa lason niya. I smiled back.

Kahit talo ka na tumayo ka. Every great warrior has its own Achilles heel. But never let someone defeat you though you're bleeding stand up and fight until your last heartbeat stop.
