"You know, I never thought that you're the cuddly kinda guy," I teased Harry, grinning up at him.
He let out a frustrated groan and glared at me. "I'm not. Usually,"
"So this is something special then? Like it's the one to a billion chance and I won?" I traced my fingers along the birds that were inked under his collar bones and I couldn't help the stupid grin that was plastered on my face.
"Don't get too excited, Rose," he warned me, amusement hint in his voice.
"Why?"
"Because I'm only doing this so you won't be cold,"
"Hmm," I hummed in response and my fingers kept tracing Harry's bare chest.
I felt his chest heave evenly up and down and I could feel his heart beat. It was silent for a few minutes until Harry decided to break the silence.
"How are things between you and your parents?" he asked and I was surprised that he actually cared.
"Good," I replied. "It's still not the same like it used to be and I think it will actually take some time until it gets back to normal but things are good." I made a small pause, glancing up at Harry who was curiously looking down at me.
"It's different to know that I'm adopted but to me, they're still my parents. They treat and love my like I'm their own flesh and blood and I think that's all that really matters." I smiled softly at him and he gave me a smile in return.
"Can I ask you something?"
He nodded his head. "Go on,"
"I know I already asked but you didn't answer me and I really wanna know this.. Who was that guy who threatened me, that Frank?"
He sighed loudly and his grip around me loosened. "That's nothing you need to know. He won't hurt you, okay?" his accent was thicker and his voice deeper than usual and the hint of frustration in his voice made me regret asking this question. I could tell that he was getting angry by the way his body tensed and he clenched and unclenched his teeth.
"I'm sorry if I angered you," I said quietly, not daring to look into his eyes.
"Just don't ask again," he said sharply and I nodded my head quickly.
"Sorry.." I muttered and let out a throaty groan.
I lifted myself slightly up from the mattress and looked confused at him. "What?" I asked, my eyebrows furrowed together.
"Don't look like that, don't feel guilty for asking." He tightened his grip around me again and pulled me down on his chest.
"I can't help it," my voice was muffled by his chest.
"This is so weird," he chuckled lowly, his chest vibrating.
I rested my chin on his chest and looked at him, our eyes locking. "What do you mean?"
"Cuddling,"
I pulled my eyebrows together and giggled softly. "You think so? You've did it before with the girls that you've dated, I'm sure about that, so it's not that strange, is it?"
"I haven't," he shook his head and my jaw fell open.
"You're kidding,"
"No I'm not," he laughed, the sound making my heart swell and beat a billion times faster. "I don't date, Rose. I have never cuddled before; I usually just fuck the girl and then leave. I don't want to have any of the strings that are attached if you're in a relationship; I'm more than happy if I just can get rid off my stress and have some fun."
