back from holiday ✨

Okayyy... I'm back from holiday.

And honestly, I was a little nervous to weigh myself.

Holiday = different food, restaurants, desserts, less routine, random eating times... you know how it is.

So I was mentally preparing myself for the scale to be higher.

But...

WEIGH-IN:
Before holiday: ~53 kg
After holiday: ~53 kg

Literally no change.

I'm actually so relieved because I feel like this proves that I don't have to completely restrict myself to maintain my progress.

I enjoyed my holiday.
I ate nice food. (More or less)
I had treats.

And I came home basically at the same weight.

So I'm counting that as a WIN. 🙌

CURRENTLY...

Now that I'm home and back to my normal routine, the scale has started moving again.

Current: nearing 51 kg

And suddenly 40s DON'T FEEL THAT FAR AWAY ANYMORE.

Like???

49-point-something.

That's it.

Seeing a 4 instead of a 5 at the beginning is starting to feel genuinely possible.

I know it's still going to take time, and I'm not going to obsess over getting there as quickly as possible.

But it's exciting.

Because 53 kg used to feel like a big milestone.

Now I'm looking at 51 and thinking:

Wait... I'm actually getting close.

But I'm trying not to get too obsessed with numbers because I have so many other things I want to improve too.

There's one more thing I'm adding to my routine next week...

An Apple Watch. 👀⌚

I've wanted one for a while (like 1-2 years), but now I feel like the timing is actually perfect.

I think it's going to be really helpful for my weight-loss journey. Not because the watch is magically going to make me lose weight, but because it gives me something concrete to keep track of.

My steps.
My activity.
My workouts.
My movement throughout the day.

And honestly? I think the motivation is going to be HUGE.

There's something about seeing that little activity ring and knowing you're close to closing it that makes you want to get up and move.

Like...

"I'm only 1,500 steps away. Might as well go for a walk."

And I actually like that idea.

Instead of just thinking "I should be more active," I'll be able to see what I'm doing every day.

I also think it'll help me notice patterns.

Maybe some days I barely move because I'm studying or sitting around.

Maybe other days I naturally get 10k+ steps without even thinking about it.

It'll be interesting to see.

And I definitely want to start having little daily goals.

Nothing crazy.

I'm excited to see what the next few months look like. 🩷
