Chapter 70

Y/n POV

"Keep up you two!" I exclaim with excitement as I run ahead of Ben and the baby brachiosaurus. I ran past Sammy and Yasmina before stopping dead in my tracks. My eyes widen as I gush at the baby dinosaur they had to deal with. "Oh my goodness! Is that a baby albino hybrid between a Spinosaurus and Sinoceratops. So cute!"

Ben and the baby brachiosaurus speed past me as Ben exclaims, "Come on! What are you guys doing? Let's get a move on." I look at Sammy and Yasmina before shrugging with a smile as I start to chase after Ben and the baby.

We finally reach the MedBay and the baby pushes a tired Ben onto a cargo container as she tries to keep playing with him. I wasn't too tired considering I wasn't running around with the baby in the beginning. "Oh... She never gets tired..." Ben mutters as the baby keeps trying to chase him.

Aleem raises an eyebrow while he is leaning against the wall. "Seems you guys managed to get the babies under some control. Thankfully, Kash hasn't shown his face around here yet."

The two baby Spinoceratops were brought into the MedBay and they started to cause a ruckus. One of them pushes the baby brachiosaurus into a crate which causes me to yell out, "Hey! Don't play rough here!"

Kenji pulls out a fuse from the fuse box in an attempt to fool Kash that the babies escaped on their own due to a malfunction. But things go terrible as oen of the baby Spinoceratops crashes right into the fuse box causing it to sputter with electricity before being totally fried.

"Great..." I mutter under my breath when suddenly red emergency lights turn on as another door opens slowly.

Aleem covers his mouth before pulling me behind a cargo box. I stay quiet while peeking around the box as a large dinosaur appears from the open door. My eyes widened in fear in the realization that the baby dinosaurs managed to let out a Ceratosaurus by accident.

The baby brachiosaurus starts acting up and whining but thankfully all three of us were able to hold her back. I shush her softly and we start to slowly head towards the open door. Aleem gestures for everyone else to follow us.

Everything was going relatively smoothly until the Ceratosaurus spotted one of the Spinoceratops. We all scream and run towards the door trying to unlock it by using the screen. Thankfully the outage from the fried fuse box was only located in the MedBay which meant these doors were still powered.

The door opens into the forest environment and we run into it before closing the door behind us.

"That was close," Sammy sighs and Yasmina adds, "It always is."

Ben exhales before laying down in the grass as the baby brachiosaurus starts running around in excitement due to the fact she has never seen anything in her life except for that glass cage in a white room.

I giggle before I sit next to Ben while whispering, "All that running is tiresome." He nods in agreement and I nod back while picking at the grass. After a moment I decided to lay down next to him to relax for a moment.

I give Aleem a quick glance and notice him eyeing the two of us before giving a cheeky smile. I smile back and give Ben a quick kiss on the lips to mess with both boys. Ben stays silent as he wasn't expecting it and Aleem frowns before sticking his tongue out.

A giggle escapes my lips as Aleem mouths 'Get a room.'

My brother starts looking around before announcing loudly, "Um... Guys? Where are Kenji and Brooklyn?"
