She groaned as she woke up. There was a crippling pain in her stomach. She needed to eat something. She yawned and got out of bed. Suga murmured, but didn't wake up. She grabbed one of his t-shirts and a pair of his boxers. She pulled them on and went to go make breakfast. She fried some bacon and ate it quickly. She walked back out to the living room just as Rapmon was collapsing down on the couch. He looked like he had a very sleepless night. His eyes were dark and hooded and his tan face was pale. She leaned against the doorframe.
"You look awful." She murmured.
"Huh? Oh." He looked at her and looked away quickly.
"Something wrong?" She asked, walking towards him.
"When is something right?" He grumbled. She sat down beside him and put an arm around his shoulders. He tended beneath her touch, but he didn't move.
"I know it's hard. I miss him too." She sighed.
"Wait, what?" He looked at her confused.
"What?" She asked, surprised.
"Wait, what are you talking about?" He asked.
"What are you talking about?" Now she was confused too.
"He didn't tell you?" Rapmon asked incredulously.
"Who didn't tell me what?" She groaned exasperated, moving her hand from his shoulders for her lap.
"Suga. I can't believe he didn't...wow." Rapmon looked away. She could've sworn she saw the hints of a smirk on his lips.
"Suga didn't what?" She asked leaning forward.
"He joined the Yakuza." Rapmon looked at her straight in the eye. What.
She stood up abruptly.
"You need sleep." She commanded.
"Huh?" He raised an eyebrow.
"You're too tired. You're not thinking clearly." She insisted, turning away from him. It couldn't be true. Suga wouldn't do that. He wouldn't do that to her. Would he?
"I'm thinking clearer than you are." Rapmon growled.
"Oh really? Why would Suga even consider doing that!" She yelled at Rapmon, whipping around.
"To protect you of course, you blundering idiot! What makes you so great to have a stupid guy follow you around everywhere!" Rapmon screamed.
"That's not my fault!" She screeched. Two doors swung open. Jin poked his head out, his hair mussed and sticking out. Suga didn't look much different.
"What the fuck." Jin groaned, pressing his palm to his head. She turned to face Suga, ignoring Rapmon. Rapmon was so, so infuriating.
"You didn't did you? He's lying right?" She looked at him for assurance.
"Lying about what?" Suga asked, rubbing his eyes.
"You didn't join the Yakuza right?" Her voice shook a little. Suga stopped mid-rub, and looked up at her in shame with one eye. He looked away and dropped his hand.
"I meant to tell you."
She pushed him into their room and slammed the door shut behind her. She nearly exploded at the thought of Rapmon smirking on the couch outside.
"Tell me everything now." She demanded.
"The Yakuza said they'd come back. So to keep them away I said I would join." He said simply with no explanation.
"Why? Why would you do that?" A hand flew to her mouth sharply and she choked slightly. He took a step towards her, but she held out a hand. She didn't want him to touch her. This was almost as bad as when he cheated on her. Maybe it was a bad idea to trust him. She was such an idiot.
"I did it so this could all stop. If I went with them, and got them to trust me. I could get close to Rapmon's dad. And maybe I could persuade him to leave you guys alone. And while I was with him, he would leave you guys alone. You guys would be safe, and maybe we could stop running and fighting and just live normal lives. Please understand. I'm doing this for you." He pleaded.
"What about you? You might not come back." She yelled.
"That's the worst case scenario. It won't get that bad. I won't let it, I promise." He walked toward her slowly and reached out to put a hand on her shoulder. She flinched away and went to grab some clothes. She stormed into the bathroom and changed quickly. She couldn't believe him. Didn't he realize what he was doing? She burst out of the bathroom and opened her mouth to yell at him,
"Don't you realize they'll make you kill people? That you could get killed yourself? Then where would we be? You're our best fighter! What would we do without you?" She said 'we' because she wasn't prepared to think about 'I' yet. How could he do this to her? What was going through his head? He was such a fucking retard. Idiot!
"Is that all you think of me now? The best fighter?" He growled. She was taken aback, he knew that wasn't what she thought.
"Whatever Suga." She scoffed.
"You're as bad as Rapmon." He screamed. She whipped around to face him,
"I'm nothing like that controlling asshole!" She screeched.
"Sure you are! Trying to fix everything by yourself, trying to make this perfect image. You're just like your fucking gramma!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. She felt his words hit her like a punch to her stomach. She grabbed her jacket,
"I am not my grandmother. And if Rapmon would get his shit together I wouldn't be like this. And who are you to talk? You did all this without asking anyone!" She yelled, shrugging on her jacket.
"How do you know I didn't ask anyone?" He screamed, veins popping out of his neck.
"I know you Suga. If anyone is trying to fix things by themselves its you." She growled, opening the door and stepping out.
"Fuck you! Controlling bitch! I'm doing what's best!" He hollered after her.
"I SHOULD'VE NEVER TRUSTED YOU, YOU CHEATING BASTARD!" She screeched so loud her voice hurt. She shouldn't have trusted him again after he cheated, not if he was just going to go do this.
Not if he was gonna pull this type of shit.
