"How are you feeling?" Suga asked, closing the door behind him. She nodded,

"I'm relieved. But I'm scared too. And of course I'm sad." She pulled the frilly headdress off her head and held it in her lap. He sat down beside her and put his arm around her shoulders.

"I miss him." She whispered. He nodded,

"Me too."

"We couldn't even give him a decent funeral. We just burned-" she broke off into a sob.

"It's okay." He tried to comfort her, but he was just as empty.

"I lied to him. The last thing I said to him was a lie. I told him I loved him. I'm such a terrible person." She sobbed. She leaned over to him and fell onto his chest. He wrapped his arms around her tightly.

"You only said that so he would let go. If you hadn't said that, he wouldn't have ever been free. He would've been tied to you, and wouldn't that have been worse? You did the right thing. You did the best thing you could do."

"But it was a lie. The last thing he'll ever hear me say is a lie. I wish none of this ever happened. I wish he had never said anything. I wish we had never kissed. I wish I didn't have to lie." She cried. He tangled his fingers into her hair.

"Don't say that. You know that isn't true. If I...if I hadn't come back, you would've loved him. You would've learned to love him. He grows on you like that." Suga chuckled, remembering something.

"We put put him through so much. He didn't deserve any of it. He deserved a long happy life with someone he loved, someone who could love him back." She whispered.

"He did have a happy life. He died happy. I know, he wouldn't have changed a thing. He got everything he wanted. He let himself go because he knew he could. He knew he could leave us and we would be alright." He rubbed her back with his free hand.

"I know. We will be alright, but I wish...I wish we could have said goodbye in a better way. Given him something." She whispered into Suga's neck. He nodded,

"Me too."

She stayed in his arms for a long time crying silently.

"I love you." She murmured, "I am relieved this is all finally over. That we can finally put this behind us and just...live." She sighed.

"Today...is a weird day." He let her go and she wiped her eyes, laughing.

"Yeah. Yeah it is."

"We're happy and sad. Relieved, but burdened. Crying and smiling." He smiled at her.

"What?" She asked. He put a hand on her cheek.

"I love you so much. I'm so glad I have you. I'm so fucking happy everything worked out and I have you. I fucking fought J-Hope over you." He laughed and looked at her in a way that made fresh tears form in her eyes, "I don't think you realize how hard it was not to kiss you that day by the lockers. I love you so fucking much. I almost lost you so many times. I can't believe I was stupid enough to let that happen. I can't believe you put up with me. I'm so fucking happy right now." He tried not to cry.

"I love you too. I love you so much, it's not enough to just say I love you. You've given me so much. You gave me your stars, your sunsets, your ponds, and most importantly, your eyes." She tried not to cry too, just looking at his eyes...

"I'm so fucking relieved that I was able to give you something." He shook his head and looked down at his lap, "I can't wait to give you more." He murmured. She grabbed his hand and held it tightly, crying uncontrollably. He looked up at her suddenly,

"I have an idea. How about we have those two kids you were talking about, and we could name one of them Namjoon, for Rapmon." He looked at her excitedly. The old spark of wonder and incredulity back in his eyes. She nodded,

"Yeah. Let's do that." He beamed at her and slid off the bed onto the ground.

"What are you-" he cut her off,

"I know this isn't proper. And we're young. And I don't have a ring, but will you marry me?"

She nodded and slid off the bed to hug him.

"Yes. I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. I love you and I want to be with you forever." She whispered.

"Thank you so much Nari." He finally let out a sob.

"This will be a story to tell our kids." She laughed, "You proposed to me in a maid costume." He chuckled and hugged her even tighter.

"I better go change." She sighed.

"No." He mumbled, kissing her neck, "You look hot." She laughed and tried to pull away from him.

"No seriously." He pulled back and picked her up easily, throwing her on the bed. She gasped in surprise.

"No seriously." He smirked seductively. She laughed and he kissed her gently. He slowly began to take off her maid costume and threw it on the floor. She couldn't stop smiling.

They were getting married.
