He rolled over and wrapped his arm around her.
"Jimin." She murmured groggily.
"We fell asleep." He yawned. She nodded and buried her face in his chest.
"I have to go." He kissed her forehead. She shook her head,
"No. Stay." She pleaded.
"I have to go. I love you babe." He kissed her forehead again and squeezed her a last time. He slipped out of the bed and grabbed his boxers. He pulled them on and pulled on his pants.
"Where's my shirt?" He asked. She threw it at him.
"Thanks." He pulled it on and put on his socks and shoes. She sat up the bed and covered herself with the sheet.
"Do you think you'll be able to come back soon? I'm tired of not knowing if I'm going to see you." She grumbled.
"I'm tired of it too, but what can we do?" He sighed. She pouted,
"Do something for me!" She whined. He smirked and kissed her. She cupped his face in her hands and tried to pull him back into the bed. He pulled away and gave her one last quick kiss.
"I have to go. I love you. I'll call you." He promised.
"From a pay phone again?" She groaned.
"Sorry. We don't have phones." He shrugged.
"Just go." She shooed him.
"I love you." He cooed and jumped onto the fire escape. She sighed and surrendered,
"I love you too."
He hiked up the mountain wearily. Why did she even want to go on this stupid "trip"? He was tired. He was hot. He was hungry. And he was worried because he had lost sight of her. So he decided to just stick to the trail and keep walking. Finally he came to a fork in the trail, so he plopped down on the ground and groaned loudly.
"Well fuck." He cursed picking at some dry grass absently. He waited in the heat patiently and rested. She put her hands on her hips and stood in front of him. For once, towering over him. She held out a hand and he took it. She pulled him up and pulled him along the trail,
"You are such a baby!" She scolded.
"But it's hot. And I'm tired. And I hate hiking." He whined.
"Stop complaining! It's worth it." She continued jerking him along the trail. He smiled, she was so cute.
She sat down on a big rock and he sat beside her.
"People used to come here a lot but now no one wants to hike to get here. But still, look at it. Isn't it beautiful." She gestured to the cascading water falls that slid over rocks and and fell into the raging river below. Willow trees hung crookedly over the falls and maples stood proudly over the river. Scrubs were scattered along the bank along with large smooth rocks, like the one they sat on. He put his arm around her and squeezed her.
"I guess it was kinda worth it." He admitted. She giggled and rested her head on his shoulder.
"I told you so."
"You like to say that don't you?" He chuckled.
"Only to you." She smiled. He shook his head good-naturedly and kissed the top of her head. She sighed and nuzzled her head into his neck. He rested his head on top of hers, smiling contentedly. She held his hand in her lap, drawing circles on the back of his hand with her finger. He closed his eyes and focused on her soft finger against her skin.
"Jungkook I love you!" She blurted suddenly, tensing beneath him. He stiffened. He wondered if he should tell her everything. He wondered if he could. He'd wait. But for now,
"I love you too." He assured her, he put his fingers under her chin and guided her face to his. She sighed in relief as he kissed her gently.
They finally said it.
