She waited awkwardly in the back room in the stupid costume. She was wearing a french maid costume with lots of frills and even the little head thing. There were two other girls with her. They were all older and they all looked relaxed and experienced. She was nervous and agitated. She was dressed like a maid, one was dressed like a cowgirl, and another dressed like a police officer. It was all rather tacky. Everything was in place. Tadashi had agreed to help, and J-Hope was the "janitor" and had got everyone else into the office. Suga had blacked out the cameras, and so far no one had noticed. Now they were just waiting.
"This calls for a celebration!" A large booming voice laughed.
"C'mon girls!" The voice called for them. The other girls stood and walked out into the office, and she followed. She copied everything the girls did exactly. The three stood in a line, facing the men.
"Choose your favorite." The man, who must be Daichi, gestured to Suga. Suga pretended to looked at them all, running his eyes over the girls and finally settling on her. He gave her a reassuring look and gave a small smile. Then he smirked and turned to Daichi.
"I think I'll take the maid."
"Go ahead son." Daichi clapped him on the back and gestured for him to sit down. Tadashi took the police officer and Daichi took the cowgirl.
"What do I do?" She hissed.
"Just do what they do." He hissed back. She glanced over her shoulder and tried to follow their lead. She sat down on his lap, her legs on either side of his waist.
"What next?" She asked.
"Strip?" He suggested. She blushed, but he was probably right. She unbuttoned a few buttons on her silly costume and played with his shirt a little. He grabbed her hand suddenly, his eyes wide.
"What?" She whispered.
"Get ready to jump." He hissed.
"Why?" She murmured, "It's not time yet." He nodded,
"Yeah, but Rapmon's an idiot."
After a few moments, Suga grabbed her and threw them to the ground.
"Behind the desk!" He hissed in her ear. She crawled behind the desk and he followed. He pressed his back against the desk and she sat next to him. There were so many gunshots. She didn't know where they were coming from or who was firing. She immediately reached for his hand. It was all just confusing chaos, and it was happening so fast. So fucking fast. She was holding his hand so tightly, her hand was beginning to cramp.
"I need you to let go of my hand. I need to see what's going on, but I'm right here okay. Just stay right here okay?" he gave her a sloppy kiss and turned around. He peeked over the desk and scanned the room, then he sat back down.
"There's 7 of them. I don't know how many we've shot." Suga explained, taking out his gun. She nodded and closed her eyes. She couldn't listen to it. With every gun shot, she could die. Or he could die. Any of them could die. She clenched her fists so hard her nails cut into her palms. She could feel Suga turning around and shooting, she flinched with every shot he fired.
"Shit." He murmured.
"What?" She whispered.
"I'm out of bullets and there's 4 left." He sighed, leaning his head back against the desk. She grabbed the gun they had given her to hide out of her stockings.
"Here. I can't shoot this. I just can't." She sobbed. He grabbed it from her and gave her another sloppy kiss.
"It's almost over." He promised. She nodded, tears streaming down her face. She had never been so scared when he was so close. She was so scared. For her life. For his. And for everyone else's. She bit her lip and tasted blood.
"Please don't die."
Finally the air stopped ringing with gunshots.
"I'm out." He whispered.
"Is it over." She sobbed. He shook his head grimly.
"Daichi's still there." She grabbed his hand again, squeezing just as hard as before. He leaned his head back against the desk and closed his eyes.
"What are we going to do?" She mumbled.
"I don't know, but at least we have the phone." He laughed bitterly. She could hear the other girls from before sobbing quietly, and she could hear heavy breathing.
"It seems, that you are all out of bullets, but I have a full magazine." Daichi laughed viciously.
"So do I." Rapmon yelled. Then there were two quick shots, and two heavy thuds. There was long moment of silence. The calm before the storm. The moment seemed to stretch on for years, to go in slow motion, but she didn't want that moment to end. Because she knew, she knew the moments to come afterwards...
Those moments would be worse than all of it combined.
