He shot the gun several times in frustration and groaned and none of them hit the mark. Jimin touched his shoulder,

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm fine." He snapped.

"No you're not. Your shooting is way off and-" she began.

"Just drop it!" He yelled and reloaded the gun. He shot it until the bullets ran out and he threw the gun down on the small shelf. Suddenly she grabbed his shoulder and flipped him around.

"What?" He yelled.

"Tell me what's going on." She commanded.

"You wouldn't understand short stack." He insulted her and pushed past her.

"What's wrong with you?" She yelled after him.

"It's none of your business. You're not my friend. I never asked for your help!" He screeched. He immediately felt bad for what he said. She had been helping him for the past few weeks, and he felt a strange attachment to her. Sometimes he even pretended his shooting was off so their practices wouldn't end.

"Is that how you feel?" She asked quietly. He turned around to face her,

"No. I'm just stressed out that's all." He sighed. She shook her head, her hair bouncing cutely with her head.

"It's fine, I think I should go." She mumbled and began to push past him. Please don't go.

"Jimin! Jimin! Wait please. I didn't mean it. Please, I obviously need a lot of help." He pleaded.

"You know what to do." She muttered. He grabbed her arm,

"No I don't. Please stay." She wrenched her arm back from him,

"Fine."

He purposely made hundreds of mistakes. She grumbled and helped him grudgingly. He hadn't meant what he said. He really hadn't. Everything was just so messed up, and he couldn't do anything to help.

"Your stance is all off! What's wrong with you!" She yelled irritated and crossed her arms.

"Help me!" He chuckled. She sighed and stood behind him. She wrapped her short arms around his and mirrored him. He blushed and smirked. She fixed his stance and lifted up his arms. She was so short her head only reached between his shoulder blades.

"Aim and shoot." He did, hitting the target perfectly. She stepped away too quickly and tripped over his heel. He whipped around and caught her. She steadied herself with his arms and she blushed furiously. He couldn't help but smile. She was so cute. She looked up at him and looked away embarrassed.

"Jungkook, how'd you learn how to use a gun?" She asked in a small voice. He sighed, he should tell her.

"My mom. She left me one." He mumbled.

"Did she die? Did your dad teach you?" She asked, engrossed.

"No. I don't know who my dad was. She actually probably just forgot it when she left me. Probably forgot me too." He murmured, remembering all the tears and the dirty arms of the others at the hovel.

"What do you mean?" She asked, her brows furrowing.

"She left me at a hovel. With a gun. I taught myself." He told the short version.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry. I had no idea. I didn't mean to..." She bit her lip in worry.

"It's fine." He chuckled and mussed her hair playfully. She grabbed him suddenly and hugged her arms around his waist.

"I'm sorry." She mumbled into his chest. He looked down at her startled, then he relaxed and held her protectively.

"It's not your fault." He laughed.

"Still..." She mumbled. He chuckled lightly and rubbed her back soothingly. She didn't let go. He didn't mind. He actually liked having her so close. It felt nice. It was unexplainable. It was a warm and fuzzy feeling. Like as long as she was okay, everything was going to turn out fine.

She let go after a long time and turned away from him.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked, putting a hand on her shoulder. She shook her head,

"Nothing." She sniffled quietly. He turned her around,

"Hey. It's not your fault. You didn't even know me." He tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"I know. It's just, I can't imagine you growing up like that. You seem so stuck up." She laughed and wiped away her tears with her wrists.

"Screw you." He chuckled and smiled at her. She grinned weakly and looked up at him. He had the impulse to hold her hands. So he slowly reached out and grabbed her small hands. She blushed and looked down at her feet.

"Thanks for teaching me." He murmured. She nodded and looked up at him tentatively. He smiled reassuringly at her. She got up on her tippy toes and kissed his cheek.

"I guess I'll see you around?" She asked embarrassed, her cheeks an adorable shade of pink. He nodded slowly and bent his neck down. She looked up at him and raised herself on her toes slightly. He held her hands loosely and took a few steps closer to her. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes. Her breath tickled his face, intoxicating him. His eyes fluttered closed and he leaned towards her.

And they kissed.
