Over the next few months Suga gained their trust. Tim and Koga trusted him with their lives and he felt the same. Tadashi did too. Him and Tadashi had grown very, very close. Suga was practically his right-hand man. Over those months Suga had also killed at least 14 people, he hadn't stuck around to see who had survived. Those nights he couldn't face anyone. He just crashed at Tadashi's. He didn't tell anyone about it either. He just endured it silently. Piece by piece he was hollowed out. He felt like half a person. But he was doing it to protect his family, something he hadn't been able to do before. But now, that all might be jeopardized. Tadashi had said that Daichi had wanted to see him. He had never met Daichi, but he knew he should be afraid. Tadashi had just given him a pitiful smile when he had asked why Daichi wanted to see him. He took a deep breath and followed Tadashi into Daichi's office. The last place he might see.
He wished he could've said something better to Nari rather than, "See you later." The office was neat and perfect. Bonsai trees and bamboo water fountains littered the office giving it a traditionally feel. He gulped and looked at the man sitting at the desk. He was tall and lean, and looked disturbingly like Rapmon.
"Hello Yoongi." Daichi greeted.
"Hello. Very nice to meet you." He mumbled nervously. He didn't bother corrected Daichi on his name. Tadashi nodded in encouragement.
"Tadashi tells me you're one of the best. Tells me you did not hesitate to put your life on the line for him. Though I doubt because of your nature you even noticed. He also tells me he trusts you completely." Daichi cut straight to the point.
"Yes sir." He tried to moisten his dry mouth. Daichi smiled in approval,
"You see, I always liked you. You probably don't know this, but I've known you for a long time. You probably don't remember but I watched you grow up. I was very close with your father. Until the unfortunate accident. What a pity. Your mother was very pretty, and very clear minded." Daichi sighed and looked out the large window of his office that let in the moonlight.
"Thank you." He murmured. Memories of his mother flew through his mind. She had been rather beautiful. She had looked a lot like Nari. He sighed, things would've been so much different if she hadn't left that day. If his father wasn't an uncontrollable drunk. He clenched his fists and looked at the ground.
"Memories are an unfortunate thing. Especially angry ones. Ones we'd like to forget." Daichi murmured softly, looking at him with paternal gentleness. He was startled by the...love in Daichi's eyes. He nodded, slightly stunned.
"Well now, let's move on to why you are here. Tadashi has your full trust and I'm sure he has yours. But our problem is I don't trust you. And you can't blame me, I mean you've been hanging around with my son!" Daichi chuckled. Suga clenched his jaw. Despite the tenseness and anger between him and Rapmon, he still didn't like that anyone spoke about him that way. If he could've done something about it he would've.
"But I have a way of making sure I have your loyalty." Daichi's eyes had a malicious spark. He took a deep breath, preparing himself.
"Sir?"
"Your father owes us a lot of money. And I know you hate him like my son hates me. So it shouldn't be a problem for you to take care of it." Daichi smiled and the door opened. Two men dragged his father in, beaten up and slumped on his knees. Tadashi handed him a gun and gave him a reassuring nod and smiled. Tadashi trusted him, and Tadashi thought he could do this. He did trust Tadashi and he did have Tadashi's back but...he couldn't do this. He couldn't kill his father. Tadashi began to turn his father around.
"No." Daichi ordered.
"But-"
"No." Daichi cut off Tadashi with finality. Tadashi nodded and stepped back.
"Please son." He father pleaded in a hoarse voice. He cocked the gun and raised it slowly. That was the easy part. Now how could he pull the trigger. He hated his father, and he put Nari and Jin and Rapmon and Jimin and everyone above his father. But it was father.
"Please. I know I've done some terrible things to you, but please know I am sorry. I do love you." His father whispered.
"Liar." He croaked. Anger bubbled up inside him. How could his father expect him to believe him? Memories of his mother and his siblings flew through his mind. The anger grew. His old nightmares of Nari dying came back to him, strengthening his resolve. Anger at Daichi boiled in his blood. A million things were going through his mind at once. Filling him with rage at his father and distracting himself from what he had already decided to do. He was sick. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. A clear picture of Nari came to him. She was dressed like his mother and she looked so happy. He opened his eyes and pulled. Bang. Bang. His father slumped to the ground. He dropped the gun trembling. He was a sick, horrible person.
"Suga." Tadashi reached out to touch his shoulder. He just walked past him.
"Good job." Daichi called out to him. He nodded and left. He was trembling and he felt tears come to his eyes. He pushed them back and exited the building. He felt absolutely hollow. There was nothing left. But Nari. Nari was still there. But even so.
He had just killed his father.
