"Hey princess." He kissed her cheek and set the flowers down on the bedside table.
"You're in a good mood." She giggled. He smiled and sat down in the chair beside her bed.
"When am I in a bad mood?" He countered. She shrugged,
"You're just not usually so happy."
"Who says I'm happy?" He teased. She shook her head good naturedly,
"Never mind."
"Aw, don't be mad." He got up and tried to give her a kiss. She pushed him away,
"No. Go get me jello." She ordered. He smiled,
"Okay princess."
The brace had been working out well. Her back was getting stronger faster, healing better. Her mobility was better. Of course she wasn't as cuddly, but what could he expect? It was a cement brace. He walked by the hospital entrance on the way to the cafeteria when he saw the pair. Suga leaned heavily on Nari, who supported him and helped him walk into the hospital. He paused in shock for a moment, but then he regained himself. He skidded over to them and grabbed Suga away from Nari. Suga was too heavy for her.
"What happened?" He asked shocked.
"Well. We were shopping. I always hated shopping." Suga grimaced.
"It was your idea." Nari murmured, holding his hand and a dress in the other.
"What happened?" He asked again and Nari called a nurse over.
"I got clipped. They had guns." Suga murmured.
"Yakuza?" He asked. Suga shook his head.
"Then why'd you fight them?" Jin growled at him.
"I can't tell you." Suga winced.
"You have to tell me! We're in this together right?" He looked at Suga questioningly.
"I'm sorry. We are. But I can't tell you. Tadashi will take good care of you." Suga promised and Jin helped him into a bed and the nurses began rolling him away. Nari reached for his hand and ran with the nurses.
"You have to tell me!" He yelled after Suga. Suga gave him an apologetic look and was rushed away. That's all.
Nari was sleeping beside him. He smiled and stood. He winced slightly as the stitches in his side were pulled. But he continued on, just with more caution. He slowly put on his clothes and grabbed his jacket.
"What are you doing?" She growled at him. He turned and looked at her.
"Leaving." He murmured.
"Get back in the bed." She ordered.
"Can't. People know who I am. I can't be here. I should've gone to-" he broke off quickly. He still worried about what she would think.
"I know. Let's go." She sighed and helped him out of the hospital.
"I didn't think you would agree so easily." He laughed.
"You would've left no matter what." She looked at him reprovingly.
"Yup." He laughed, then winced.
"Just shut up and walk." She growled. He nodded and kissed her head.
"I'm sorry our day was ruined."
"I'm used to it." She shrugged.
"I know. But I'm gonna change that." He promised. She said nothing. But he was.
He was going to change this.
