Although I don't want to two people who love each other to just end everything with a break-up, in popular culture keeping all couples together is cliche. Sadly, it is unrealistic and sometimes breaking up a couple might be the only thing you can do to keep the interest of your audience. When I become a published author, I'm definitely going to have trouble breaking this cliche. I'm just too soft!
