Seriously what is up with the victims of horror movies? Did they suddenly get left feet once the killer chases after them, due to the amount of times they tend to trip so the killer can easily get them? It just doesn't make any sense! I know this trope is used to lower the amount of screen time in the final film, but does it have to happen so often it becomes a cliche? I'd really like this genre of films better if there were more inventive ways the killer caught up with the victim. Just take a look at Scream Queens, an extremely popular horror/comedy show. The tactics the Red Devil Killer used there were always unique and not once used the cheap tactic of having the victim trip by accident.
