Ever since the theatrical release of Jaws, most people view sharks as an underwater threat to humanity.  In their minds, all sharks are bloodthirsty monsters, much like the tall and fearsome Titans present on Attack on Titan.  They want to exterminate these "threats" themselves, by overfishing their populations every single year.  These sharks' bodies are usually wasted, only caught for the prize of their fearsome jaws or a carton of shark fin soup.  There is no dignity in their deaths, done so by the now blooded human hand.  Worse, the fear is reinforced through other shark horror films, such as the Jaws sequels and Sharknado.  Not only is using a shark as a horror figure cliche, but it is inhumane.

Sharks are actually not as bad as one might think.  They rarely attack humans, and when they do it is only due to mistaking them for game such as seal.  Also, it is not the adults usually attacking humans, but instead still developing teens.  The fact that people mix up the truth about these creatures is sick.  Why can't there be at least one story or film where the shark is actually good and not a villain?  If you are thinking that Shark Tale counts as an example, it really doesn't.  One, Shark Tale is a goofy film, which isn't the least bit serious.  Two, the film just really sucks.
