Despite women rights really helping bring the world closer with gender equality, there is a pretty unknown darker side to it. The darker side of it is being overly fearful of offending any women, which is expressed a lot in popular culture. Usually, this fear is created in too many stories about women whose only purpose is to show how powerful they are. A sense of gender dominance is created as a result, which is not what the women's movement should create. Instead, it should create female characters in media that are relatable to the audience, that aren't perfect but definitely have their quirks that still make them as strong as the male characters. Just watch Steven Universe to see what I'm trying to say, where the female characters don't overshadow the male characters.
