This cliche isn't so bad as I've seen this kind of story idea be handled quite well before, but there are some problems to it. One, the evil twin most of the time is a flat character, with their only defining trait being their meanness. Two, the nice twin always ends up victorious in the end, making any story using this idea very predictable. Three, the twins usually look completely identical to each other, thus making it hard for the audience to distinguish who is who. The way to make this idea work is to make both characters complex, do something besides making the good sister victorious, and give them both distinguishable traits. However, you could also go the route of making both twins get along and having their biggest conflict be fighting adversity from their peers. Either way, the cliche is gone with both routes.
