  Yeah, just because a live studio audience may laugh along with the production of a live action show, it doesn't mean anyone watching the show will at the sound of laughter.  Laugh tracks are one of the most common and annoying cliches found in most live action shows, especially those focused on a younger demographic.  Creators assume that we will just follow along at the sound of other people laughing, which isn't at all true.  In fact, people tend to get annoyed with the use of a laugh track on any TV show.  The best thing to do to avoid possible annoyance on a creator's part is to just edit out the laughter.  That way, viewers can watch live action TV shows without disruption, and can decide for themselves what is really funny on a program.
