Even as a fellow American myself, I hate when stories really make fun of our European neighbors. In fact, I hate when people make fun of Mexicans, Canadians, the French, and really anyone that isn't American. I love my country to death, but I hate the discrimination some citizens give foreigners, especially in their writing. If you are foreign, there is a good chance in some film that you are made fun of for something stupid. A cultural trait gets translated into stupidity, which translates as a form of racism. From these sentences, you can see I'm not a huge fan of South Park, who do this all of the time. The creators of that show and many others have created a cliche that bullies anyone who was born in a different culture. It is a cliche that I can only hope can end one day, once differences are seen as a sign of just individuality.
