It was the start of Period 2 in school after a short 10-minute break. You and Shawn were having Social Studies class together and he sits one desk over from you. You had a thing for him but he doesn't know about it and you're ready to confess after school.

"Okay, today we will be learning about the French Revolution. Everyone open your textbooks to Page 152 and read silently." The teacher, Mr Smith, told everybody. You couldn't stop looking at Shawn, who was just a desk away from you. The way his eyebrows were formed as he was focused on reading his book made your heart beat faster and tension inside you increase.

"Y/N, read your book and stop slacking off." Ms Smith told you off, making Shawn smirk at you. You just brushed it off but on the inside you were feeling like you just wanna kiss him.

As you focused on reading your book, you decided to go to the bathroom as you drank a lot of water after P.E. Class in the previous period. You excused yourself and gave Shawn a smile before going off, however he did not notice you.

After washing up, you heard the announcement that you never wanted to hear throughout your school life.

"Attention staff and students, we are going into lockdown. This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not..." But before the principal could finish making the announcement, a gunshot was heard. He's right. This wasn't a drill. You silently screamed and tried to run back to the classroom but realized that the door was already locked shut. You scanned the classrooms around the hallway but they were all locked up as well.

"Open this door!" You screamed while banging on it. But nobody would answer it. Everyone thinks you're the person with the gun.

"Ms Smith! It's me Y/N!" You said quite softer this time, hoping the gunman wouldn't hear you. But still nobody was even bothering to let you in.

You ran back to the bathroom but there's no lock on the door. You broke down on the floor silently crying alone.

Unfortunately, your school wasn't that huge. It's easy for the gunman to find you within 20 minutes. You tried to hide your sobs that were becoming uncontrollable every passing second. You were always the person that can't seem to handle a life-or-death situation like this on your own.

But the one person comes into your mind that you hope will not get shot.
