"Babe, we need to talk." I hear Shawn tell me. I gulped, not knowing what's about to happen.

"W-What is it, Shawn?"

"Come, have a seat." He sits down on the couch and I sat beside him. He looks intensely into my eyes and sighs deeply.

"I..um.." He stutters and breathes heavily. He grabs his guitar and begins to sing.

What? He's breaking up with me? I can't! I can't let him leave me. I love him too much to let him go! 

"Shawn! What are you saying? D-Do you not love me anymore...?" I began to tear up and he stops singing for a bit. He cups his hands into my face and wipes the tears falling off my cheeks.

"Y/N...I barely have enough time to spend with you. I'm always at the studio and I've got a tour scheduled to commence in just a month. I feel like I'm not giving you all my love." He starts but I brush it off. His love, no matter how small or big, matters to me a lot.

"S-Shawn, pl-please. You're the only one I've dated that actually been so sweet and loyal. Please don't let me lose you.." He sighs deeply and continued to wipe the tears off my cheeks. He continues to sing and I tear up even more.

"S-Shawn, please. W-We don't have to go this way..." I choke on a tear and break down in front of him. 

"I can't believe you don't love me anymore.." I said barely above a whisper. He looks at me shocked and sings.

He finishes singing and pulls me in for a hug. I feel both broken and mad at him at the same time. He rubs my back and kissed my forehead. 

"Y/N, seriously. Find someone who will love you and be with you forever. I'm not that person and we both know it." He replies and I shake my head no.

"Shawn, you're the only one I love...I want you!" I cry and he pulls me in closer.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. Our relationship just won't work. I have tour for about 7 months and we won't be able to have much contact since I'm gonna be busy. Please, Y/N. I know this is hard but please accept it." He tells me and we pull away.

He goes to our room and packs all his stuff. He goes towards the door and I cry harder.

"S-So this is goodbye forever?" 

"Y/N, just because we're not together anymore doesn't mean you're completely out of my life. I'll come visit you every now and then when I return from tour." 

"D-Don't go..." I tried one last time to convince him to stay but he shakes his head no.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. I don't wanna do this but I have to." He replies and opens the door. He kisses my forehead for the last time and exits the house. Forever.
