You were in the living room watching TV, until breaking news came in about a mid-air collision. Curious, you turned the volume up and listened to the unfolding drama. 

"Two flights collide in mid-air as heavy fog blocks the pilot's visibility. Unfortunately, there were some notable people on board...." 

You hear the phone ring and mute the TV as you answered it. 

"Hello?" You answered.

"Hey Y/N, ready for Shawn's concert tonight!?" It was your best friend. She called you.

"So pumped! What do you think I should wear!?" 

You two got into a 15-minute long conversation about what you two were gonna do, what to wear and what poses to make for pictures. Eventually, you two got bored and hung up. You checked back on the TV to see that the news coverage was over. 

You sighed and turned it off as you took a shower. Once you were done, you suited up in a red dress and put a reasonable amount of makeup on. The concert was still 2 hours away, but the drive is 45 minutes to the arena. 

When you got there, you see a bunch of girls crying while holding candles. Your eyes went wide as you saw a huge poster with the hashtag #RIPShawnMendes at the side. You teared up immediately and went over to a fan.

"W-What's going on?" You asked.

"S-Shawn's....gone." The fan replied as she lit her candle and sobs. You tensed and went on your phone. You typed the hashtag on the poster and immediately news came in about him involved in the mid-air collision. You covered your mouth with your hand and broke down in tears. You never had the chance to meet Shawn in person or watch him live, and now there's no way that can happen now. 

You took a candle and lighted it as you continued to cry. It was now impossible to meet Shawn, something you've been wanting to happen to you since you became his fan.
