Final Concert

Fast Forward to a few years later

You sat yourself down with tears and anxiety as Shawn was gonna be performing live....for the very last time. He tweeted about this a week ago and fans worldwide were upset about it. 

It's been 8 years since he released his first album, gaining millions of fans around the world. 

You started to tear up a little, looking back at his vine videos, listening to his first ever song and being part of his fandom the entire time. 

The concert begins and you screamed as loud as the other fans inside the arena. You've never actually met Shawn before in-person, and this was the closest you were gonna see him.

Shawn sings his songs from the albums he released throughout the years, including Handwritten and Illuminate. Memories came into your mind about him.

**FLASHBACK**

You were in the car listening to music on the radio, until a song plays that you've never heard before.

You've never heard of him before, but you liked the song and began jamming until it was all over.  

When you got home, you searched up the lyrics to the song you heard and the first thing that popped up was Shawn Mendes.

You clicked on the link and saw his picture for the very first time:

Your eyes immediately widened.

"He's an angel." You sighed and started at the picture all afternoon.

Since then, you became a huge fan of his and listened to all his songs, got merchandise and finally went to one of his concerts. But you still officially haven't met him in person.

**END OF FLASHBACK**

After three hours, it was time for the last song. You began to cry a little as this was the last time he was gonna sing to fans live.

"I dedicate this song to all of you guys. Without your support, I wouldn't have made it this far. I love all of you, my muffins." He sweetly says and begins to sing Never Be Alone

Fans began to cry, and you can see a bit of tears coming out of Shawn's eyes as well.

"Don't cry, love..." You whisper and he wipes a tear away. His voice starts shaking as he got to the chorus.

He tried to be strong to sing the rest of the song, but the final verse made him lose it.

He sniffled and sang the last chorus beautifully.

He strums the guitar the last time and the crowd cheers loudly.

"I love you all so much...." His voice cracks and waves at you guys. The stage goes dark and the concert is finished. 

You became his fan, and after many years of waiting, you finally saw him live at a concert.

You began to head home as it was already late, but you saw someone in the distance. You went over there and saw that it was Shawn himself! 

"Oh my God...S-Shawn?" You whisper and he turns around. He smiles but tears up a little as he noticed you crying.

"Hi, hunny." He tells you softly and pulls you into a hug. You sobbed as you finally met him, your dream finally became true. 

"I love you so much, thanks for the concert tonight. You sang beautifully." You complimented and he kisses your forehead.

He tried to say something, but sobs as well.

"I-I don't wanna stop..." He whimpers and holds you tight. "You guys made me where I am right now, and I can't ever thank you enough for it. Stupid management made me tweet about this concert which made my heart break. I love you all so much that I just wanna keep performing, I hardly ever get tired of it." He admits and looks at you, eyes glossy.

"Shawn, I..." You didn't know what to say so you just hugged him.

"I love you so much, Y/N." He says and you were surprised that he knew your name!

"I love you, too. But, how do you know my name?" You wondered and he pointed to your shirt. It was custom-made with Shawn + Y/N written inside a heart.

"Oh." You replied and he smiled.

"S-So, about your tweet..." You asked and he shook his head no.

"I'm gonna talk to management about this. I hate having to leave you guys and I just love performing in front of you all." He replied and held your hand.

"But remember this, Y/N. If I do ever leave you for any reason, just listen to the last song I sang at the concert and I honestly promise you...it's true. I love you." He tears up again and kisses your nose. 

"I love you too, Shawn." You nuzzle your head in his neck and he pulls you in closer to him.
