It's that time of the year where you wish you had a boyfriend. The school is hosting the annual prom and they encouraged all the students to attend.
Finding a date was really hard, as you're not really one of the most popular students in the school.
As you were stuffing your books in your locker, you saw the one boy that you wished was your date to the prom.
Shawn Mendes.
He was the most popular student in school, and any girl would die to be his prom date. You developed feelings for him since last year, but he doesn't know about it.
You sighed as you continued to stuff books in your locker.
"Hey Y/N!" You hear your best friend Hayes call.
"So listen, do you have a date to the prom?"
"No, but I really want him!" You say and point to Shawn. Hayes quickly widened his eyes and gasped.
"Go for it, Y/N! He has no date and most girls already have someone else to take! Do it!" He encourages you but you avoided.
"Come on, Y/N! He has no date and if he doesn't, he may not go to prom!"
"I'll think about it..." You reply and he sighs.
"Whatever you wish."
---LATER---
You finished writing a letter to Shawn, asking him to prom. Your hand began to shake as you slipped it into his locker.
You were walking to your next class, until you see Shawn running in the middle of the hallway looking like this:

You hid your gasp as you tried not to have a meltdown seeing him like that.
"Please, Y/N! Hide me!" He says as he drags you to a small corner of the school.
"What's going on? And why are you wet?" You asked.
"Someone stole my clothes and now girls are chasing after me! Oh, I just had swimming for P.E. Class."
"Well, stay here! I'll look for your clothes." You say and go to the swimming pool area. You searched everywhere and found his clothes just outside the change rooms.
You went back to him and gave him the clothes.
"Thanks, Y/N! I don't know how I could re-pay you."
"Well, read the note in your locker and we'll talk..." You gave him a hint of your note and walked off.
"See you, Y/N!" You heard him call and you waved back.
