Watching Over You

You sadly tucked yourself in onto bed with no Shawn next to you. Just three weeks ago, he was involved in a car crash thanks to a drunk driver accidentally knocking his car off a tall bridge. 

Every night, you would always talk to yourself about you and Shawn. You've never stopped loving him, and you know it's the same for his love with you. 

After 15 minutes of thinking and settling in, you turned off the lights and went straight to sleep. You never found anyone else that could replace him, not even Cameron, Nash or Hayes.

[Ghost] Shawn's POV
I finally arrived at the place I miss so much, me and Y/N's house. It's been weeks since I've last kissed her before I wasn't alive anymore. I wish she was in my arms again.

I reached our shared bedroom and saw her sleeping peacefully on the bed. But I can see a sad expression on her face. 

"Hi Y/N..." I say but I know she can't hear me. I miss her voice whenever she says I love you to me whenever we cuddle. 

"I know you can't hear me but I just wanna say I miss you so much. I can't stand not being able to cuddle with you in everyday bed like we used to back in the days when I was still with you." I sniffle as I went closer to her. I stroked her face but she can't feel it. I can't stand living without Y/N anymore. 

I miss the days where we would cuddle in bed, hug, kiss and hold hands, everything. All those unforgettable memories I've made with her were the best I could ever ask for. 

"I know it hurts for you not being able to see me anymore. I promise though that we'll reunite together and I'll be able to hold you in my arms and keep you safe no matter how challenging it gets. I can't wait to kiss those precious lips you always have." I began to cry harder as I saw her continue to sleep peacefully.

"This won't be the last time I'll visit you. I'll be back again sometime. Until then, take care and I love you." I kissed her cheek and vanished into thin air.

From strangers to friends, to a couple, to husband and wife and now, a guardian angel.
