Your Cardboard Buddy

You were shopping at the mall, until you find a life-sized cardboard cutout of Shawn at one small shop. You immediately started to stare at it.

"Oh Shawn, if you were mine I'd lay in your arms and never get up..." You daydreamed, until you heard snapping. 

"Excuse me, please buy something or leave." The store manager said and you dragged the cutout with you.

"Perfect, that will be $120, please?" You gasped at the price.

You wouldn't pay $120 for cardboard, would you?

"Alright, I'll take it!" You said and payed with exact change.

"Okay, Shawn! Let's go shopping!" You dragged the cutout and people looked at you weirdly.

You reached an accessory store and looked for pairs of sunglasses.

"What do you think of this one, babe?" You said to Shawn.

"Oh, you look good with any glasses Y/N!" You imitated his voice, the other customers gave you strange glances as you put the sunglasses on the cutout.

"You look cute!" You say and went to the cashier.

"I'll take these two, please? One for me and one for my boyfriend!" You said, pointing at Shawn. 

The cashier laughs uncomfortably and scans the stuff you bought.

After paying, you went to the foodcourt to have a meal. You bought one for you and one for Shawn. 

"Okay, Shawn! Open up!" You say as you hold the fork full of food but the cutout doesn't move.  

"Well, guess I'm having your food!" You say and ate his meal.

"I'll be back, babe." You say and kissed Shawn. You go to the washroom to clean up.

When you returned. You see the cutout....moving?

You sat back down to see....the real Shawn Mendes!?

"OMG!!! Y-You're..." You start to fangirl and tear up. 

"Hey, gorgeous!" He smiles as you cry tears of happiness. 

"W-Where's the cutout..." You ask.

"Oh I threw it away. Why have cardboard when I'm right here?" He says as you hugged him tightly. 

"But I spent $120 for it!" You whined.

"I'm worth $0. All I need is your love..." He winks.

You held him tighter and kissed his nose.

"So, what's your name?"

"Y/N..."

"Beautiful, just like you." He winks again and kisses your forehead.

"So, shall we continue shopping?" He asks as you nodded and dragged him to the nearest store you could find.
