Betrayal [PART 4]

You were dozing off to another deep sleep, until the door opened. You didn't wanna bother talking to anyone right now as you were too tired. You heard sniffles you slowly opened your eyes to find...Shawn?

You didn't want him to hurt you anymore, so you pretended to be asleep. His whimpering continued to increase in volume as he steps closer to your bed. Your face was turned the other way.

"Y-Y/N....can you hear me?" He chokes and you feel his tears land at the back of your neck. You knew he wasn't gonna hurt you anymore if he's in a state like this. You turned around and slowly opened your eyes.

Shawn's eyes were not their usual shade. They were red, puffy and stained with tears. 

"It's my fault you're in this condition." He covers his face with his hands and you sit upright. 

"So you believe me now?" You sassed a little, he seemed hurt by your tone.

"Yes, you were right. I'm so retarded." He confesses and you made a small smile.

You open your arms and he hugs you, nuzzling his face into your shoulder, you feel his body shaking as he slowly shakes his head no.

"Why do these things always happen to such beautiful girls?" He whispers and you can feel his tears stain your shirt.

"S-Shawn, promise you'll never do that a-again. The doctor said I almost d-di..." You tried to say the word, but couldn't.

He looks at you shocked and tucks his head back in your shoulder. 

"I promise, Y/N. And that's a promise I'll keep." He says and kisses your nose gently. You felt sparks at the touch. 

He lays down next to you and wraps his arms around you. Both of you then fell into a deep sleep.
