He asks you to be his girlfriend

You snuggled closer to your best friend, Shawn who invited you over to his house to watch a movie. You two were watching The Notebook and the scene where Ally gets her memory back was just about to play. You began to tear up at how cute they were and Shawn looks at you with a smile on his face. He puts an arm over your shoulder and pulls you in a little closer to him. He sees a tear sliding down your cheek.

"Aww, Y/N...." He coos as she strokes your hair behind your ear and gently wipes the tear off your cheek with his thumb. He's literally the sweetest guy you could ever have as a best friend. He was always there for you and never abandoned you when you were in times of need.

You rest your head on his shoulder as he played with your hair, making little curls with his finger. He looks into your eyes and smiles widely.

After the movie was finished, Shawn stands up and offers his hand. You gladly accepted it and he pulls you in for a hug. You nuzzle your face into his shoulder and he rubbed your back gently. 

After about two minutes, you two pulled away and saw him looking a little nervous. 

"Y/N, c-can we talk for a minute?" He asks and gives you a shy smile. You laughed at how adorable he was being. It's so cute when he is shy.

"I really like you. Not as friends but more than that. You've shown me that you are someone who is trustworthy, gorgeous and can always be there for me whenever I'm in difficult times. I love how you always make me smile no matter what you do. Everytime I worry about stuff, I always think of you and it makes me feel a little better. You're just so sweet and beautiful, and I'm glad that you're my best friend..." He starts to speak and you felt shocked at his wonderful speech. You tear up and he makes a concerned face.

"Aww, sweetie. It's okay to cry." He replied and hugs you again. He pulls away when you managed to control the tears.

"I really like you more than a friend and I'm definitely certain that you're the perfect girl for me. So Y/N...?" He asks as he slowly grabs your hand and gently wraps his hand around it:

"...will you be my girlfriend?"
