You two break up [Shawn Mendes; PART 3]

You jolted out of bed as your heart was beating quickly. You looked around and saw that you were in your shared room with Shawn. Tears began to water your eyes as you try to picture what happened to you. Was it all just a nightmare?

"Hey, babe. Hope you slept well last night." Shawn comes in and says to you, but this made you cry harder.

"What's wrong, honey?" You sit up as he goes right beside you, placing a hand on your back.

"Oh, nothing... just a bad dream." 

"A bad dream? What happened?" He asks, curious. 

"You broke up with me, I didn't know why. You just did it like it was for no reason, but only to leave me for Lauren and have sex with her! Then when I confronted you two, both of you beat me up, you even threw a knife at me..." You told him everything that happened, whispering and cringing the last part. Shawn immediately gasps softly and tears up. He pulls you in for a hug, tucking his face in your shoulder. 

"Y/N, never would I do that to you, especially hurting you with a knife, I would never...." You can feel his tears as you try and calm him. He was feeling more pain than you. 

"...I love you, there's no one else, I promise." You tear up even more as you continue to comfort your emotionally-pained boyfriend. 

"Shawn, let's just forget about it. It's not gonna happen, it's just a dream." You said, he calms down and looks at you in the eye. When you looked at him, his eyes were glossy. Your tears mixed as he leans in to kiss you. 

"Y/N, I love you."

"I love you, too."

And with that, the nightmare was forgotten and you two spent the rest of the day cuddled up watching your favourite movie.
