Jealous

You and Shawn were in a fancy restaurant for your date tonight, this was the first time you two have done something that's not crazy and casual. The waiter comes to your guys' table but you're too busy looking at the menu. 

"Hello, and welcome. My name's Austin I'll be your...." You hear him say and looked up. To your surprise it was your best friend from junior high school. You gasped and formed a smile.

"It's so nice to see you! How have you been?" You went up as you hugged him, he hugs you back.

"I'm doing great! How about you?" Austin replies with a smile.

"I'm just on a date with my boyfriend Shawn here..." You say, pointing to Shawn as he formed a small smile.

"Yup, boyfriend..." He says, emphasizing boyfriend with quite a firm tone.

"Hey, Shawn. Nice to meet you." Austin says, shaking his hand. But Shawn wasn't too happy too see him apparently.

"So, can I take your guys' orders?" He added. Shawn took his, but then said yours before you could even speak.

The entire time, Shawn didn't pay much attention to you. He rushed you to finish your meal but you wouldn't budge.

"Shawn, what's the matter babe?" You ask, he gives you a glare. 

"Nothing, just hurry Y/N. It's getting late." He says impatiently. Not wanting to argue with him at the restaurant, you just did what he said.

"All done? Here's your bill." Austin came back and handed you two the bill.

"Thanks, Austin." You say.

"Yeah, thanks Austin." Shawn mocked you. You glared at him. You could tell he's not happy. 

The car ride home was silent, Shawn's face feeling upset.

When you two got home, you immediately confronted him.

"Shawn, were you jealous of Austin?" You smirk. He gets out his guitar and sings.

He finishes the song and you clap but then start to laugh.

"Babe, Austin has a girlfriend!" You say. 

"Prove it." He says. You look for your purse but realized that you left it at the restaurant. You groaned, knowing that it was already closed.

A knock came on the door and Shawn answered it. 

It was Austin.

"Hey, um. Y/N left this at the restaurant." He says as you sigh in relief.

"Thanks, bud." You say. 

"Hey A/G/N" (A/G/N = Austin's Girlfriend's Name). You added.

"Shawn, this is my girlfriend A/G/N. A/G/N, this is Shawn." Austin tells you all.

Shawn face-palmed himself and you can see his cheeks turn red.

"Sorry for snapping at you earlier. I'm just a jealous guy, and maybe a little selfish."

"Yeah, you are." Austin replied sarcastically.

"HEY!" 

"Just kidding, bud." 

"Please come in.." You offered, but Austin shook his head no.

"We really have to go, I can't be home late. But it was nice meeting you Shawn." 

"See you bud, and sorry again..."

"Don't worry about it! If I saw you flirting with A/G/N I'd probably hate you too." Austin says and winked. Shawn smiled back and they left.

"Don't worry, Austin. I love you." Shawn says.

"Aww, I love you too Shawn!" Austin replied back with a flirty tone. The rest of you laughed then they left.

"So, Mr Jealous, where were we?" You say.

"C'mere!" He says and pulls you in for a hug. 

"I'm sorry I got jealous. Kiss me please?" He asks.

"Gladly." You reply as you two connected lips.
