He meets your older brother

"You've gotta be kidding me! Another one?" You groan as your older brother enters the house with huge model airplane to add to his collection: 

Your brother was into flying. He already got accepted into flight school and was on his way to become a pilot.

"Y/B/N, that's like the 35th one you've bought! You've got too much already!" You grumbled to him.

"Hey, you're room is full of Shawn Mendes posters, shirts, accessories and even 2 cutouts! And you always say you want more!" You brother back-sassed.

"Well!" You scoffed. "You do realize he's coming over to meet you any minute now! And he's having dinner here as well!"

"Yeah, yeah!" Your brother brushed you off as you got ready for Shawn to come over.

A few minutes later, you heard a knock on the door. You answered it.

"Hey, baby." He greets and kisses you. 

"Hey, love. Come on in." You say and he does what you say.

"Y/N! Can you pass me a screwdriver!?" You hear your brother shout from his room. 

"Is that your brother?" Shawn asks, you nod.

You went to the kitchen and got out the tool and then walked towards Y/B/N's room. Shawn followed you.

You open the door and Shawn gasps.

"Whoa! How much did you spend on all of these!?" He asks, amazed at your brother's collection.

"Oh... just $70 for the small ones and $165 for the really big ones. And my name's Y/B/N, nice to meet you." Your brother replied and shakes Shawn's hand. 

"C-Can I have one?" Shawn asks. Your brother's eyes widened.

"Why?" 

"Well, um...." Shawn tried to come up with an excuse, but you just stepped in for him.

"Just give him one! You've got like 35 already!" You protested. Your brother sighs.

"You're from Canada, right?" He asks, Shawn nods.

"Indeed I am." He replied, looking at you confused. "How can he not know where I'm from?" He mouthed at you.

Your brother scans the room and finds a good model for Shawn, until there was one hiding behind a bunch of others.

"Here you go, take good care of it." Y/B/N says, handing him a model aircraft:

"Oh yes! Thank you so much!" Shawn says and kisses your brother's cheek. Because he's used to kissing after saying thanks to you, he accidentally did it to your brother.

"Um, I'm so sorry." He apologizes and looks down in embarrassment. 

"No, it's okay. I needed some love from a famous singer anyway..." Your brother says and laughs.

---DINNER---

You three were now having dinner, and your brother looks at Shawn suspiciously.

"So Shawn, what are your plans for my sister?" 

He looks at you nervously and then answers. "W-Well, um. She's the love of my life, and I could ask for nobody else. I really love her, Y/B/N. So much. I do plan that we get married, too." 

"Aww, how sweet. Y/N, when are you gonna become Mrs Mendes?" Your brother teased you and you shot a glare at him.

"When are you gonna get a girlfriend?" You back-sassed and he opened his jaw widely. Your brother is older than you and yet he doesn't have a girlfriend.

"Well then!" He gasps and you three continued having dinner. You and Shawn laugh at his response.

"And one more thing, Shawn. If you and Y/N ever break up, I'll be sure to..." Y/B/N warns, but you kicked his leg real hard under the table.

"Stop it! He's a nice boyfriend!" You whined.

"No, Y/N it's okay. But yeah, I understand. I won't ever make her break up with me, I hope." Shawn replies.

"Okay, and Y/N? Get me the first aid kit because I think my knee is bleeding. Thanks a lot!" Your brother tells you.

You groaned as you grabbed what he asked you to get and for the rest of the night, you three talked about random stuff and your brother accepts Shawn and approves of you two being boyfriend and girlfriend.
