(A/N: Imagine if your school had a morning news show and Shawn was the lead anchor/reporter)

It's Spring Break, which means no school for at least one week. But you had to do a special episode for your school's morning show about what spring break was like. You didn't complain though, you loved being part of the club.

But this was no ordinary day. Instead of filming at school or around Toronto, you and the rest of the crew flew all the way to British Columbia and took a 1.5 hour bus ride from Vancouver to Garibaldi Lake, where you guys would film instead.

"Alright guys, split up into 3 groups of 2 and find a good spot to film each of your segments. I'll be coming round every now and then to see how you guys are doing. Now move it... while I relax in the sun for now."

"Mr Y/T/N!!" You all screamed at the same time. Talk about lazy teachers.

"What? I trust you all, but don't go too far! Now move it!" Mr Y/T/N added and relaxed on his chair. Everyone else groaned at having to do work instead of enjoying the beautiful weather.

You realized that you had no partner as there were 7 people in the crew, yourself included.

"Mr Y/T/N, I don't have..."

"Work by yourself then, there's a tripod and microphone in the bag, go and use those." You were shocked at his response.

"Can you at least help me?"

"No! I'm relaxing! Now get to work!" You groaned and walked to get the stuff. You thought to yourself that this field trip was just a lame excuse so that Mr Y/T/N could relax while you all work under the hot weather.

You went around the lake and found a great spot by the water and not too far away from the others:

You set up the tripod and clipped the wireless microphone onto your shirt, you brought one extra in case the other one breaks or falls into the water

You set up the tripod and clipped the wireless microphone onto your shirt, you brought one extra in case the other one breaks or falls into the water. Your segment was General Announcements, where you report about any news going on in and around the school. Basically you are the lead anchor or reporter of the show. Obviously, this wasn't gonna be too hard, but you don't know what news there is to talk about.

"How's it going over here?" You hear Mr Y/T/N come your way.

"Sir, I honestly don't know what school news there is to report about. It's spring break!"

"Well, we've got the spring dance coming up on the first week that we're back, so how about something involving that?" He offers.

"Alright, thanks." You say and he left to check on the others. You positioned the camera and pressed record.
