Missed Opportunity

This imagine is partially based on a real-life experience.

You were casually sitting at home on your laptop playing Shawn Mendes at full volume. It was so loud that your brother actually went out to town to avoid listening to the music he thinks is horrible, pathetic and a waste of time.

But he did like Shawn as a person cause he's really sweet and friendly, unlike most celebrities. 

"I'd drive through the night. Just to be near you baby. Heart old and testified. Tell me that I'm not crazy..." You sang one of his songs and danced around the room. You honestly loved him so much and would do anything to go to one of his concerts, or better yet meet him in person. 

You fangirled as you searched up Shawn Mendes and found a sexy pic of him:

You kissed your laptop where Shawn's lips were, not caring that he's just a picture on your screen. 

You then searched up memes of him and screamed as loud as you could when you scrolled through one:

After an hour of searching up Shawn and singing to his songs, your brother comes home with an evil smirk on his face. 

"What's with the face?" You sassed as he went to the kitchen to grab a drink.

"Check your Instagram and Twitter, and don't hate me for this." He winked and you made a confused face. 

You went on your brother's Instagram and saw a pic of....him with Shawn!!

Your mouth opened wide and looked at your brother with wide eyes.

"How did...but I thought..." You began.

"Looks like you don't do your research well lil sister!" He laughed as you became furious.

You went on your laptop to look up Shawn's tour dates and to your surprise he was performing at your city tonight!

Your brother has met Shawn and you didn't!

You sighed and went your brother's Twitter, to your surprise Shawn followed your brother!

"WHAT THE HELL!!" You shouted and became mad at your brother even more. He laughs harder.

"Why didn't you tell me he's here!?"

"Because you kept playing his songs loudly that it made me really pissed off! So this is my payback!" He says sticking out his tongue. 

You were so close to meeting him! If only you searched up his tour dates the same thing would've happened to you as what happened to your brother!
