Chapter 45-Pokémon Go-ing too far

okay also i keep forgetting my own characters i have to look back and be like okay so that's who that was. yeah i haven't written on this story in a while.

Chapter 45

Shannon's pov:

It's currently 6pm and Thanksgiving is drawing to a close, meaning the boys will be leaving tomorrow. I really don't know how to feel. They've grown on me so much (well Calum has actually been on me) and I just can't stand to see them go. My thoughts are suddenly interrupted at the sound of the front door opening and my friend Tyler's voice.

"Anyone up for a game of truth or dare?" he announces, walking into the kitchen where everyone is gathered, staring down at his phone. My grandma has already left or else I bet she would join in a heartbeat.

"Are you playing Pokemon GO?"Michael jumps down from where he was sitting on the counter.

"Hell yeah I am!" Tyler replies. Michael rushes over and they start talking about which ones they've caught, how many gyms they've taken over, etc. What a blossoming bromance. Too bad today is the last day of it.

"I'm good, but you kids have fun," Alec comes back to the truth or dare question and walks out of the room.

"Y-yeah, I think I'll pass too," Luke stammered, leaving the room the same way as Alec.

Well that's heckin suspicious.

Everyone else agrees to play and we all go to the other room and sit in a circle, Michael and Tyler still fangirling.

Let the games begin.

Luke's pov:

I follow Alec up the stairs and right as he's about to open his bedroom door, I mumble a small "Hi Alec." Fortunately, it was enough to get his attention and he turned around to see my awkwardly fiddling with the sleeves on my long black shirt.

"Hi Luke," Alec replies with a slight smile. "Now what might bring you here?"

Now that I think about it, what did I follow him for? When we first arrived he and I hit it off and we talked a few other times, but we haven't been able to be alone.

"Just thought we could be alone finally, without everyone else being extremely loud," I laugh.

"Good idea," Alec smirks, opening his door and gesturing me in. I sit down in the middle of his bed with my legs criss cross apple sauce and then Alec comes over and sits across from me the same way, our knees touching. "So..." Alec trails.

"I was just-can we-can I ask you something?" I struggle to find the right words.

"Well you just did, but feel free to ask again," Alec replies, putting his hands behind him on the bed and leaning back slightly.

"So I know we've barely talked this week, but when we have, I-I've really enjoyed it. Plus you're really cute," I blush, looking down at my sweaty palms. "I was wondering, if maybe you felt the same?"

Alec sits up from his position with a look on his face that I can't decipher. Oh god was I too blunt? Even the largest emperor penguin couldn't save me now.

"Well... to answer your question," Alec starts, placing his hand on my thigh, sending an electric shock through my body, "yes. Yes I have felt the same, and you too are extremely cute."
