Chapter 22-Building sandcastles

Chapter 22

Shannon's pov:

Eventually Luke, the asshole who put me in timeout, finally lets me rejoin everybody. I glare at him and sit on the floor next to Calum.

"What happened?" He laughs putting his arm around me.

"Luke put me in the corner," I mumble.

"Why?"

"Because Michael kept crushing my dreams of building snowmen and sandcastles."

"Fuck them, we can build snowmen and sandcastles whenever we want," he kisses my cheek.

I blush and Ashton walks back in looking pissed. We all stay silent as he sits next to Erika and looks down.

"Well, um this is getting awkward," I cough standing up.

I make my way to my room and close the door behind me. My laptop sits on my desk so I go and scroll through Tumblr.

The door flies open and Niall walks in.

"Hey, are you alright?" Niall asks his Irish accent thick.

"Yeah, just scrolling through Tumblr," I reply, standing up and shutting my laptop screen full of cartoon Dan and Phil kissing.

He nods and walks over to me. Niall suddenly wraps his arm around my waist and I freeze.

"You look beautiful," he whispers into my ear, resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Niall what the he-" he cuts me off by pressing his lips to mine, and it takes me a few seconds to process what is happening before I push him off of me. "God dammit Niall!"

I look over at the door frame and see Calum standing there looking shocked. "Shannon?" he squeaks.

"Calum, it was Niall I swear!" I protest.

Calum averts his gaze to Niall and waits for his response.

"I just came in here to say hi and she just kissed me and then pushed me away!"

"He's lying Calum," I take a step forward. "I would never cheat on you on purpose."

"Right now I don't know whether to believe my friend or my girlfriend. I don't know who I trust more."

I sigh, "Calum I-"

"Not now."

Calum exits the room and I turn to Niall.

"Bloody hell Niall! Why did you do that?" I groan, frustrated with this boy.

"Because you are beautiful and even though I just met you I already lik-"

"Out. Get out of my room. Because of you I might lose Calum. So get the fuck out," I say, my voice shaky.

Niall jumps a little bit at my sudden outburst and backs out of the room slowly. I slam the door and fall back on my bed. Why? Why me? What is the point of being on tour if everything I've ever known just becomes a mess?

Somebody knocks on the door, but I ignore it. I burry my face into a pillow and feel a tear slip down my face.

Calum doesn't even trust me.
