"Two bottles of beer on the wall! Two bottles of beer! Take one down! Pass it around! One more bottle of beer on the wall!"

"ENOUGH ALREADY!!! HOLY-"

"ONE MORE BOTTLE OF BEER ON THE WALL! ONE MORE BOTTLE OF BEER! TAKE ONE DOWN! PASS IT AROUND! NO MORE BOTTLES OF BEER ON THE WALL!"

"SHUT THE F-"

"NO MORE BOTTLES OF BEER ON THE WALL! NO MORE BOTTLES OF BEER! GO TO THE STORE! BUY SOME MORE! 99 BOTTLES OF BEER ON THE WALL!"

Essej screams like a banshee in absolute rage.

"It stopped being fun at 80," Margot groans monotonously—truly dead inside.

We laugh hysterically. It's been a long hike since the Vampire Princess.

"Spooky graveyard land straight ahead broskis," Sess signals. "Can't wait to go head-to-head with an Elder Lich," Havanna booms excitedly.

"Yeah if you're not dead by a few seconds. Necromancy is seriously powerful shit—whether we're talking about this world or irl. Plus it's hard as hell. Trust me I've tried. Need more magic training and meditation," a Sorcerer says.

"True that," Pranav agrees.

We continue to walk further into the cemetery and begin to take notice of the increasing number of dug up graves, until we're walking amongst all open graves.

Elder Lich Demigod.

"Wonder where the bodies went," Mack whispers. "Like, creepy right?" Rachel whispers.

"Why are we whispering?" I whisper. "Mack started it," a Sniper whispers.

"Look!" Sess whispers hoarsely, pointing at a figure in the distance. The figure wears a black and green robe, carrying a thick book. We approach to see the half flesh, half skeleton, decaying creature known as the Elder Lich. The glowing grimoire of Necromancy hovers above the bone hand.

"Holy crap! It even has a grimoire!" Havanna and Pranav squeal. "Calm down, know what you're up against before you get destroyed," Essej warns spinning his katana.

"More adventurers to add to Elder Lich's undead army!" the decomposing corpse booms.

"Great. An AI that talks in third person now? Seriously! Fire the monologue programmers!" Pranav jokes. We snicker.

"Who wants to take first hit?" I ask. I don't even have to wait for an answer as Havanna spontaneously begins casting.

"Renisus!" she yells. With her outreached cane, a tier two magic circle appears, and she casts it off. A wave of force shoots out and hits the Elder Lich.

"Zero damage? What the hell?" Havanna asks in confusion. The Lich chuckles.

"He must have a diamond defense," one of the Wizards gasps. "That's freaking crazy," Havanna mutters.

"Melee!" I yell leading the charge. All the melee guys run to my side. "Soft cut!" I'm the first one to strike as I jump into the air, spin for momentum, and strike.

As the blade of my greatsword bounces off the zombie, the vibration of the shock is so hard it takes some of my HP and sends me flying through three tombstones and into a grave. I shake off the dizziness and climb out of the pit.

Everyone is attacking the Lich from all sides, yet his health doesn't even move. I swear, every time we fight a new boss, there are always new shenanigans. This has to be some kind of trick. The Lich doesn't even attack us, but just hovers above the ground laughing.
