You were being dragged and blindfolded from your captors, you didn't even knew if they were the local police or just the mafia. You felt like vomiting right now.

You and your parents were crossing the boundary of Canada, but right on the line when you were gonna hide someone had told those men about all of you, foreigners crossing and walking into Canada, and they came. Everything was blurry. Your mother and father were with you, when it happened. You heard someone screaming, then your father pushed you into one alley and as you fell on the ground, you hit your head hard and felt blood run down your forehead, getting in your eyes and sting, but the screams you were hearing were way worse than the pain you felt.

There were gunshots. And more gunshots. And angry screaming. And silent cries from time to time. But one sound was always there. Screaming. Painful screaming. All of the people were screaming for help, from the big pain or because they were desperate. You just laid there in the alley, still a little dizzy to get on your feet, but from the things you could hear, you knew that the treating those unknown people will give you will be the exact same as with all of the other people, probably bleeding to death right now.

From out of the nowhere, the gunshots stopped and the screaming sharply took its end as well. You shivered while getting up slightly, but before you could even try to look up you felt a foot dig down deep in your back. You screamed in pain and tried to get up, but if the person kept up his pace your spine was soon to break.

More footsteps came closer to you, surrounding you and talking about something. They were talking about you, you knew that for sure. You just didn't knew what they were planning to do with you. Suddenly you were picked up, the pressure on your back was gone and you were dragged into the street. You looked around and all you could make out were corpses. Many corpses.

Bodies laying down, blood pools around their bodies, their faces frozen in a moment of shock or one of fear or a silent cry as they weren't gonna look through those lifeless, bloodshot, wide eyes of theirs ever again. Some missed limps or even limps missed the body, but you almost vomited to the sight.

The sharp metal sent hit your nostrils and made you choke slightly. Your eyes got blurry and your mind felt dizzy, you saw your parents among the crowd. Your father laid across the street, his arm and leg missing and blood scattered everywhere around him as your mother's body laid no more that a foot away from his with her head being shot multiple times. Your eyes widened at the sight of something so gruesome and you turned around from that.

The men blindfolded you and cuffed your hands and feet, giving the task to the newbie of the team to drag you all the way to wherever they were going. Probably going to sell you, or use you as their personal slave, but you knew one thing. You didn't want this kind of fate.

If getting a better thing than what they were gonna offer you, meant your death, you were okay with it. Happy even.

The whole way to the place they were taking you, the men were talking, but you had no time to even care to listen to them as you were too preoccupied with drowning in your own grief, saddness and most of all - regret.

You regretted coming along from the start. You regretted letting your parents come. You regretted not being able to protect them when they needed you. You regretted being weak. Most of all, you regretted the choice you made.

Your self pity was washed away by pain as soon as your body was harshly thrown to the ground and left there, you didn't even know where. In the darkness, you were all alone. You weren't okay. You were hurting and you were sad. The urge making you to vomit was still there, stuck in your troat ever since the smell of blood entered your nostrils and the sight of your dead parent's gruesome left overs came into your sight.
