Walking down the foreign hallways of my new school I felt a chill rise up my spine as wind blows around my body. I looked around in haste, trying to pinpoint my destination in vain.

Highschool years were never my favourite years of life, despite the fact that all romantic stories escallate in that span of time. Why, you ask?

Because I'm simply not interested in any kind of love life.

My main goal right now is to find the cabinet for first period for which, apparently I'm already late.

I'm having so much fun til now people can't imagine. My morning started terrible with that oh, so great accident occuring into the kitchen and then in a span of seconds my new school year was already ruined.

My name is (Y/N) (L/N), 16 years old student in Sina High, newly transferred into the program because of my father getting a new job a few hundered miles away from our former living place. Cue the moving in. I forgor to mention I'm a magnet for bad luck and have a brother who's a former thug as well also strange game going down the generation of our family and awful with introductions due to my - no, not shy, but rather overly confident parsonality.

But let's stick to the point.

This morning my alarm clock went off a few minutes later than expected, which escallated in my panic to be on time, which led to me stubbing my toe and falling face flat on the floor of my room while on my way to the bathroom.

After the incident I cursed and shouted loudly, making my parents jump out of their skin and sprint to my side, forgetting entirely the food in the kitchen that was gonna be a potential breakfast. Well, no more.

After they shooted me down and I stopped cursing we all caught the strange smell of burnt coming from downstairs.

My mother immediatelly knew what happened and ran down the stairs with the speed of light, turning off the hot plate and getting the frying pan under the water to put out the fire over our breakfast.

In the meantime I managed to wash my face, brush my teeth, comb my hair and find myself clothes to wear among all of the still unpacked boxes in my room consisting of my stuff. Then I went downstairs and ate the non burned pancakes my mom had already cooked, while my father read his newspaper, while sipping from his morning coffee.

For now everything was good.

Yeah, but not for long.

I went to get my rucksack from my room and searched over half of the boxes in attempt to do so until finally I did and took it with me, while walking down the stairs, expecting my father to either give me his car so I can go to school or to give me a ride, but it looks like our car has decided to break down in the last minute, leaving me to the wrath of public transport and in my case - the bus which I was late for and went towards the school without me in it.

On the way a car didn't forget to ride right through a puddle of water near me, leaving my lower half and probably rucksack as well, wet to the bone.

Thank God it was only water, though. It rained only the night, so the water had stayed somehow more clear than when it would stay after a few days of bad weather with no chances of it to evaporate into thin air.

Stupid little kids and even teens didn't miss their chance into laughing and pointing at me as I ran down the street towards the entrance of my school, water dripping down from the edges of my leather jacket and combat boots squelching each time my feet met the ground.

No, apparently it was just too funny for them.

But I had no time for their shit, so I just ignored them and slowed down my pace right after giving in to the fact that I was going to be late and that was final.
