"Why am I doing this again?" Levi rolled his eyes, blowing a small strand of his raven hair out of the way.

"For an experiment. Remember - it's for the cause." Hanji's eyes glimmered with determination and excitement, things ever so absent in Levi's own smoky hues.

"Whatever, I'm only doing it because you refused to turn in my books. I don't even know how you took them in the first place, but whatever." The raven looked down at himself and sighed loudly through his nose. "I look ridiculous."

"Come on, Levi! It's for the cause! I will be following you around with the camera in my cap all the time! You won't be alone!"

"As if that's a reassurance, shitty glasses." He snorted at Hanji's bright grin as she plopped said cap onto her head. Levi's grey hues walked over his dollar bill-covered suit and the countless bills of twenty dollars that were taped onto the fabric of the normally black suit. It was an understatement to say that the black was even a bit visible.

"Well, you have to accept it as one because I'm not offering any more. Now we have to go!" The brunette harshly grabbed his wrist and started dragging him out of the building. He drew in a sharp breath before replacing the scowl on his face with an expression of apathy.

About ten minutes later they were both outside, pretending to be just a part of the crowd. Hanji left his side and kept her distance of course, but not before shoving a giant sign in his hands that read 'TAKE WHAT YOU NEED' and showing him thumbs up. Levi mentally groaned in despair, but he quickly reminded himself that the faster this ended the faster he would get back his books. He started walking with the sign in his hands.

He could imagine Hanji's subconsciousness screaming 'For the cause!' at him every time she would cross paths with him "accidentally". Five minutes into walking and people giving him strange glances Levi decided this was not only stupid, but just as useless. He was about to stop and throw away the sign, but then a woman approached him. Her manicured nails quickly started ripping off the dollar bills from his right shoulder as she talked into the phone between her ear and shoulder.

Levi glanced at her attire, her handbag drew his attention as it hung loosely from her elbow. The middle-aged female glanced at him from behind her enormous sunglasses, but the conversation she was leading on the phone didn't cease one bit.

"Isn't that a Gucci bag?" The comment slipped past Levi's lips before he could rethink it.

"Yeah, but it's old." The woman quickly replied and continued ripping off dollar bills from his shoulder. She already had five in her right hand and currently her right hand was clutching three and ripping off a fourth one. Levi's smoky hues walked over her caked face and styled hair, also the probably expensive coat around her shoulders and his eyebrows furrowed.

"You sure you need all those?" He inquired, his gaze straying towards the bills in her hands. She snorted with a curt nod before adjusting the phone between her shoulder and ear. Levi noticed it was an iPhone. He wasn't really up to date with the brands and everything, but he was almost sure it was the one he saw in a commercial about a week ago.

"I have appointments at the hair salon and at times the nail one. Things like that aren't free, are they?" With that her right hand gave up on the fourth banknote and she simply walked away, her manicured nails clutching 160 dollars in cash. Levi snorted while watching the woman walk away with her Gucci bag and most likely brand new Prada high heels.

A few more women stopped him and in total about four hundred dollars were taken from his suit, baring a small portion of his back and his right shoulder completely. A couple of men snatched some green for their snacks and beer for tonight's game. A mother made her kid go up to him and rip away a hundred dollars or so. As a reward the kid got a shitty lolipop and the mother called her friend to tell her how they could go on a shopping spree. Levi was slowly losing hope in humanity with every minute that passed.
