Hello, whoever you are

I know it's strange to write to strangers, but I just feel like doing it. You may waste your time reading this or not, it is your choice. I just wanted to write it.

I'm feeling not on myself. More like it started out that way.

And I felt like it. The world was quite monotonous for me actually. But I had to live in it anyway, so I ignored it somehow. That was until a single person managed to break my reality.

I started high school and she was a senior and I knew I didn't even had a chance, but I'm still here.

I met her accidentally actually. And what I never thought would happen was that she would entirelly change me and my life.

It was late and my step father was a big fan of football, so I had to watch it sometimes. It was strange for me because I felt not on my place, while watching the whole game just run around me. Then I heard some girls probably from the upper classes giggle at someone.

When I turned around to see at who, I recognized my own senior who was just throwing curses at them for calling him names. He was quite funny actually. Always making fun of one of the teachers, he even painted his face as if he had a fake beard of his own only to make the interpretation better.

But in fact, he didn't wanted to be a clown, he didn't wanted to be made fun of or it wasn't just because the teacher always had him with an F. No, a big part of it was because of the little ones. The ones like me. So he can ease the tension and make things easier. But no one actually saw his superior motives. Just me. 'Cause I was always at the side, watching silently and I know it sounds creepy, but this is who I am. A wallflower.

At first I thought my sister and her boyfriend would let me to sit with them, but it didn't quite work. Then I knew this girl, who was bright and funny to talk to, but she didn't even care for a hi when I first saw her in school. And so I was left all alone. Of course that was until they came.

For my own surprise the boy called out to me and I gladly went to sit by his side, while we talked about football and school. It wasn't that bad. Then she came. She literally flew in the picture.

She jumped over to our seat and made me bump into the senior, who was more than excited to see her. I thought they were together. She smiled brightly and the two had a small talk from both my sides until seconds later she realized I was there.

And she smiled asking who I was. I was so mesmerized that I forgot how to speak myself, so my upper classmen had to talk instead of me. When she got the information she needed she just smiled again, then stretched out her hand and said:

"Well, then it's nice to meet you. I'm (Y/N).

She introduced. I shook her hand and she had her attention back to the game, screaming or jumping lift and right when a point has been scored and splashing her soda all around. But all I actually stared at until the end of the game was her.

Then what surprised me was what she said next after the game ended.

"Hey, so if you have time, come with us. We're going to the cafe.

And so I did. I went with them, but for the first time in my life I didn't feel out of place while I talked with them. I told them I loved music and someday hoped to write a book, but I couldn't really hope for someone to read it. Then my senior suggested:

"Why don't you write for us?

She asked and I smiled slightly at her, saying that it was a good idea and then the boy next to her said jokingly:
