Levi x Reader ~ Ghosts {Late Halloween Special}

"You all know this is a mistake don't you?" You stood with crossed hands on your chest in front of your squadmates, staring them down with a glare.

"Of course it's not. Lighten up, (Y/N)! If you continue frowning like that you'll be in no time the second Corporal of our division." Jean stated with a slight pat to your shoulder, but that just made you scowl all the more. 

Looking like Lance Corporal Levi himself more or less, you couldn't cope with the stupidity of the peope you've ever so recklessly chosen for your friends.

"This isn't funny, Jean. It's forbid we go in there and I'm not going just because all of you shitheads want to get into trouble with the corporal."  You stood glued to your place, trying to somewhat change their mind, but the least you could do was not get yourself into troube while doing so.

"Come on, why don't you show him how brave you are by entering? We all know you're crushing on him." Jean smirked and you frowned with a snort, glaring at the horse boy.

"Am not. And by entering I'll just show him how disobedient and stupid I am. Qualities I want no one to see me possess. So you go. I'll be just staying here, waiting for all of you to return." You stomped your foot on the grassy ground with determination as your friends just sighed and nodded.

"Fine then." Eren voiced and Jean nodded along. "Stay here and wait for us."

"But no one will come when you scream for help or something of the kind." Jean added with a seemingly serious expression, but you knew his inner notion was to scare you off and make you wobble up to the them moment they leave and the fucking wind blows around some bush behind you.

"Okay." You clicked your tongue and they left, going deeper into the old building and leaving you to stand outside of it, where not only was it damn dark, it was fucking cold and the damn crickets wouldn't leave you alone. But you had said you'd stay here and not go with them. So you were going to keep your word.

You see, your friends had suddenly woke you up in the middle of the night with the excuse that you all had something very important to see. After you dressed up and walked outside, just as you were to ask what in the fucking hell made them drag you out of bed after curfew you were shushed and made to keep quiet until they explained everything once you were a safe distance away from the HQ.

And indeed when you looked up you could see Corporal Levi's office being lit up, probably he would've seen you if it wasn't so dark outside. 

You and your friends quickly ran off behind the building and to the stables, where you hid and they, with them being mostly Jean and Eren, explained to you about their plan. 

How there was a story that once a year a specific building, abandoned part of the Survey Corps castle, was becoming the epicenter of paranormal activities. So, as the dumbshits your friends were they all wanted to see what was happening there and check if it was true. 

You as the sane person with apparently most common sense and less of a motivation than anyone else, had stated thay you would never go with them to check of the stupid abnormal ghost story, most probably created to scare the kids off the old castle that would probably fall over them if they dared go close to it.

Then came the chicken card and you were dragged along your squad towards the adandoned part of the Survey Corps castle, being just a few minutes travelling into the forest behind the castle itself. 

It was in the midst of a not so big field of grass, which was very suspicious taking the fact that it was supposedly old and unused for it to still be standing on a flat ground instead of being amongst the many trees that would grow around it in all of those years.
