Levi x Reader ~ {Modern AU}

(A/N) Prepare for the longest one-shot of your lives. It can become a two or three shot with the time. Depends on my mood and if I'd wanna torture you all with having you scrolling down for an hour or not.

I was walking down the street, the trees were blooming, pretty flowers everywhere, light wind moving around, fresh aroma being all over the park from the dozens of mesmerizing plants, the baby blue sky smiling down on he ground as Jack was skipping ahead in front of me.

Jack, with his cute (f/c) fur and wolf like body could scare anyone, yet the giant dog wasn't even able to kill a single fly despite how much he hates them, because they annoy him to no end. The dog was good by nature. Kids loved him and I loved him. He was my best friend, well right after Eren of course. Or maybe even before him... Let's just skip that part.

Jack was nearing a bench, the man sitting on it not even paying him attention as he was talking on the phone, with a clear frown adoring his sharp features. Well, not something mesmerizing but I couldn't deny that the man was pretty. That was until he scolded my dog of course.

"Don't lick the fucking ground, you big fur ball." The man said and I scowled from afar.

How in the fucking hell was this dipshit scolding my dog? Oh no, you pretty stranger, you've got it wrong...

I rolled up my sleeves and went towards Jack, who just stood there tilting his head to the side at the man's words.

"Excuse me? What's the problem you've got with my dog?" I asked while placing my hands on my hips and rising an eyebrow in question. 

The man looked up as his dark hair reflected the morning sun and his silver eyes shined brightly. 

Yeah, not that pretty. I can handle it just fine.

"Probably my problem is that your dog is licking the gross ground and then trying to lick my shoes. And for all I know you imbecile are the one who taught him this way." The man said and my teeth clenched.

"Well, I am so sorry that I, the imbecile, haven't taught my dog to not lick shit up. I think the gross here is you, trying to rub your manners on me and my dog, mister. Learn how to talk to women and then come back to give me a piece of your mind." I spat back with a calm frown on my face as I patted Jack's head, the dog watching up at me and then at the man on the bench.

The man was speechless for a few seconds, thinking of a come back, which apparently he came with as he said: "First you learn how to talk to people and then come back trying to insult me." He glared at me and I just huffed with a smirk.

"Of course, but I think I'll have to learn to talk to dipshits with big ass mouths full of shit, who think they're the best to actually come back to you." 

"Yeah, when you learn how just talk to the mirror for a practice first." He spat back and I just glared at him.

"I'll be seeing you again when Eren invites Mikasa to a date, which is not happening in near future, so I suppose there's no use in even talking to you right now. Bye mister, hope you've got some comebacks for when I make my dog chase after you to see how you'll have time to say them." I turned around and caught Jack's leash, pulling him with me.

"Come on boy, I know you love shit, but that's not the type to be around." I said and the man shot me a glare, which got straight out ignored by me, while Jack walked by my side, looking back at the man a few times before finally running ahead of me again.

Just with my luck in the middle of the most sunny day of the fucking year, rain started pouring down the moment I had nowhere to hide later that same day. It was five thirty and I have already left Jack at home, worked on my most recent story and was on my way to meet up with my cousin, but him being the idiot he is, was late and right then it started raining. I had to run three blocks before finally reaching a cafe where I could actually go in, due to most being in break.
