Levi x Reader ~ Love Story {Modern}

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

I felt something squeezing me tightly around my waist and struggled to fight it off, but the person's grip was too stong and after my pity attempt just closed around my waist like a chain.

"Levi..." I mumbled, fully knowing which iron grip I was in. "Let go of my waist. You're sqeezing the life out of me." I scolded him groggily, trying to keep my eyes shut, but his grip not only remained, it doubled its strenght and I huffed. My beloved raven mumbled something ever so unaudible, that I thought he just mashed up the words pretty badly, due to him not being a morning person. Or the one to be scolded early in the morning.

"At least give a proper re--" I opened my eyes and was on my way to turn around towards him, but I froze on place the moment I got to see the view in front of me. "-spond." I finished my sentence with a mare whisper, just above the sound of a falling needle. My eyes wide and my mouth hung slightly open as I didn't find myself able to close it with what I was seeing.

"Brat, what the fuck do you--" Levi croaked out in his husky morning voice as he let go of my waist and supported all his weight on his elbow to look down on me, but froze in an instant just like I did when seeing the same thing I did. 

We both stood like that for a few seconds, slowly absorbing and trying to progress the thing that was happening. At some point I looked over at Levi and saw him already gazing at me with wide eyes. His grey orbs shined with anxiety and nervousness as did mine, but with more fear lacing with their (e/c) color.

"Where are we?" I managed to ask him as we looked at each other. 

"As if I would know." He huffed and I immediately glared at him.

"Stop acting like a child."

He clicked his tongue at me and I just huffed.

"Can't we just lay down for a little more?" I asked and he rolled his eyes.

"You know we can't."

"Yeah, but nothing will happen anyway."I looked over to the window and continued. "The only thing we should expect as danger is titans breaking down the wa--" I realized what I was seeing outside the window. "Levi, there is no wall." 

His eyes darted to where mine were and widened in an instant as they were met with the truth. There was no wall in sight.

"We should get going." I said and hurried up out of the bed, only to be pushed back down by the raven's strong arms.

"You're staying here."

"But I don't want to. I want to know what's happening as well." I tried to argue with him, but he knew me better.

"This isn't the time to argue, (Y/N)."  He said and got up from the bed.

"Look who says it, Mr. Shorty." I rolled my eyes and he just clicked his tongue, while collecting his clothes from the ground. 

Why are his clothes still on the floor?

I wondered as he reached out for the doorknob. "I'll go find Erwin and ask him what the fuck happened and where are we, you just wait here." He opened the door and exited, but freezed a brief second after taking in his surroundings. "(Y/N), we're definetely not in the headquarters." He said and I jumped up from the bed. 

Quickly getting the nearest clothing to me and putting it on, I went towards the opened window and looked out. "Levi, you might wanna see this." I said and waited for him to come.

He stood right next to me, looking out the window. "We're not in wall Sina. I don't think we are even somewhere near the walls at all." I said and observed everything til the last detail.
