"You'll lose."

You glared at the man in front of you in a smug manner as his eyebrows furrowed deeper together and his steely eyes narrowed at your determination.

"Try me, (L/N). I dare you."

He hissed out as a challenge, making your own (e/c) orbs to narrow in a way that just told him you'd be taking this as seriously as you could. Which was a lot.

"It's on, short stuff."

With a last snort on your side and a click of his tongue on his, you turned on your heel and stomped over to the door of his office, opening it and glaring at his form behind the desk with the big stack of papers you had pushed still spread all around the clean shining floor, then with a last determinated huff, you exited and slammed the door behind yourself, set on winning this shit and already having your mind wrecking over a new idea that would make the scales even or just ever so slightly droop on your side.

Who started it?

Apparently it was Corporal Short Stack.

But you would definitely end it as the winner.

"Hey, Levi. Remember the time you said you owed me one?" Hanji's eyes traced your figure walking up to your small group of friends and mostly Levi's squad as the raven haired captain scowled at the brunette from the corner of his eye.

"What about it?" He asked suspicious and yet ever so unintersted, but because Hanji was actually going to ask something of him it would be as bad as someone spilling a cup of his precious tea.

"I think I'll want it now."

With a deep inhale through his nose, Levi finally looked at the mad scientist, one of the closest people he'd had by his side and then cursed for all the trouble and scolding he was gonna have on his head by Erwin if possibly the favour Hanji would want of him would be like last time. And by the slightly disturbed and disgusted look on the raven's face the brown haired woman did get on track with what the raven was thinking.

Let's just say last time Hanji wanted a favour of Humanity's Strongest Soldier a single kidnapping was involved along with hilarious fake names and a lot of tomato sauce and guns. Add up the fact that they were both forced to almost fight each other and it pretty much sums up the last adventure they had while he was doing her a favour.

And for the first one, let's not even start mentioning.

"And?" Levi wanted to get this over with already, he was just gonna half-ass it as much as possible and hope for the best whatever she was going to ask of him. He just hoped it won't be something to do with---

"Why don't you go and..."

Fuck all of his plans. There was no real half-assing this. It was straight work.

The rest of her sentence was whispered in the short man's ear as his frown deepened if possible as his eyes spoke for themselves of the displeasure he was going to feel while performing the ever so "simple" task Hanji asked of him.

With an inhale and a purse of his lips, he got up from the table him and Hanji were sitting on along with Erwin, Mike, Nanaba and Dita and all eyes were drawn to him as he pushed the leftovers of his food towards Hanji and left the table, heading your way with a bored expression.

Somewhere around five or six feet away from your table, witnessing your back and the side smile on your face with those peach lips made his stomach turn uncomfortably for his own self as he stopped in place, hearing a part of the conversation going on the table.
