"Cadets. Attention on me now, stop blabbering." The corporal stated coldly and sternly, slight irritation being visible in his voice as he folded his hands behind his back and walked through the rolls of saluting cadets.

It was a routine of his, that he had yet to instruct everyone with their daily chores every morning.

And so even as the newby of the superior team, he had managed to tame everyone, making them afraid of him only by hearing his name or witnessing him walking down the streets.

Yet, you were ever so oblivious at to what was so fearfull about him.

That was until you actually fell under his hawk eye and more importantly in the group of cadets that always messed around, making the corporal despite them truly for they always made a big mess with their actions.

He was new, yes. Just newly proclaimed as one Lance Corporal and second in power after commander Erwin Smith himself, but he picked up quickly on what he had to do and seemingly dealed with both paperwork and cadets he had to train all too easily.

In all of his twenty-nine years glory, he had yet to make fighting machines that needed to survive outside of the walls out of your squad.

Most of the people on your squad were clumsy, other messy, third responsible about their chores, yet reckless while performing them, because they thought it was all too boring.

You on the other side, popped out in his eyes.

You were somewhat different.

You were intelligent so you understood most of the reasonings for the choices the corporal made without even having him to voice them out for you.

You fought well and were capable of taking care of yourself as well as working well in a team. A thing he could hardly do himself.

You were cheery and social and somewhat lightened the mood whenever the ring of your gentle laugh would go into the empty space of the mess hall.

You could get someone out of his grim state over a lost one, despite having lost someone yourself.

You usually put other people's feelings in front of your own. That was a thing Levi respected, because he himself did often and he knew you didn't expect other people to praise you about it or even notice at all whatsoever.

You were nice to everybody, knowing them or not.

You had more empathy that any person in this legion could ever and honestly sometimes it got you into trouble. But empathy and naivety were different stuff by themselves, so being told that you were naive wasn't an often thing.

Despite all of that you had your flaws.

You were clumsy as hell and could trip over thin air more than another cadet could over a bump on the road. You could bump into people and spill drinks so recklessly that the mess afterwards if seen by the raven haired corporal could make him go and throw a fit in your face.

You couldn't cook for your damn life and you were so easily flushed people often took advantage of it. You could protect yourself, but you were vulnerable when emotional.

And your fatal flaw, in Levi's own opinion was that--- Whatever a person had done wrong, you'd let it slip, continue smiling to him and forgive just as easily as forget about it.

And that's why currently, having your head bowed down in your place in the roll with your hair hiding the sides of it was a thing he found extremely strange by itself for you never had your head down, even in shame. You were always confident.
