(A/N) This was partially inspired by Death Parade, making me burst with feelings and cry my eyes out at the end, so enjoy the pure angst where no one actaully dies. I know what the title says, tho, I've wrote it myself. The bonus is something like an alternative ending, but you can take it as you like it.

Sorry for making you feel the feels.*whispers* I'm getting better at it, tho.

Warning: Major feels.

I didn't really think I would die young. I didn't think it would happen the way it did, too.

You see, walking on the edge of the bridge a hundred feet away from any solid ground is a bad idea. Even more when you're on the outher side of the border. And even more if you're drunk as fuck. At least I already had 28 years finished. Otherwise I would've been sad for dying. How if you're gonna be dead? You're gonna ask, but I'll tell you just how.

Well, you see, looks like dying can lead you to a court in the middle between afterlife and dead. Dying wasn't an exciting or funny expirience. I just fell down until the cold water hit me and that's it. All black. Until my eyes opened again and I was in something that looked just like a modern elevator. Then I understood it indeed was a modern elevator.

While I tried understanding what was happening, the ring for the end of my ride sounded, making me almost jump in my place as I walked out of the elevator doors and started walking ahead on some unknown and unfamiliar hallway until finally reaching it's end.

Only to look upon some kind of a bar in front of myself. Not really modern, but the counter was made out of black marble, all kinds of booze in different by shape and color bottles were collected on a hell lot of shelves behind the counter, a shining colorful glass inbetween the shelves, making me stare at it intently until I noticed a person behind the barplot, cleaning the marble with a white rug.

As my boot's heel clicked on the clean floor as soon as the carpet stopped its line, the man looked up from the barplot and his eyes widened in the slightest before he greeted politely: "Welcome to the Scouts Bar. I'm your barthender, Levi." He stated, making me shift uncomfortably as questions crossed my mind constantly.

"Please take a seat." The man gestured towards the chairs in front of the barplot, but I did not make a step forward.

"Excuse me, but... Am I not supposed to be dead right now? Why am I here?" I questioned what seemed the most important questions, making the man freeze up as his shoulders tensed under his barthender uniform consisting of a simple white button up and a sleevles dress coat with a plain black bowtie.

"You remember you died?" The man asked cautiously as I stepped towards him and the barplot with a nod.

"I remember I was with friends, then we got drunk and we went... on the local bridge... I fell from the edge and then... died." I said while already having my hands support me on the black marble, seemingly as the information was too much for myself to bear with.

The shock of being dead hit me like a brick as the man, excused himself and placed the white rag down, going to the old fashioned phone at the end of the counter and dialing a number as I just stared at the shining black marble and tried not to hyperventilate.

Hearing only parts of what the man said on the phone, he sounded aggitated as far as I could hear, but only part of the words actually came to my ears as I was still going over the shock of my expirience. With a last profanity towards the person on the other line, which I didn't mind at all, Levi hung up harshly, making my head snap towards him suddenly seeing as he had no expression on his face, hiding his emotions for whatever had happened deep inside himself.
