Twisted tale of Negan

The breeze hit my face as I walked out of the building, and over to the watch post. It was good to be outside, I almost forgot how it felt to be.. Free.

I climb the ladder to see Nathan watching on deck

."Hey there" I said picking up the gun and walking next to Nathan.

Nathan was a smart man, he was one of the first people i actually spoke with when I first stumbled upon Negan that night.

"Hey luc" he holds out his arms.
I give him a friendly hug and look out at the horizon, a few walkers nothing too out of the ordinary.

"So I see Katherine is here!" Nathan exclaims
I smile softly and look at him, his Aqua eyes piercing though mine, i was taken back for a second. I never noticed his eyes, but maybe that's because I never really wanted to.

"Luc?" He asks snapping me back to reality.

"Oh sorry, yeah she's back I'm thrilled.." I run my hand through my hair and look back out at the view.

We watched for what seemed like hours, which was nice. I just didn't want to go back to Negan and Katherine, don't get me wrong, they haven't done anything to me. I just don't want to deal with them right now. I want to go out, explore.

"Why don't you say we get out of here?" I whisper to Nathan.

He cocks an eyebrow at me "where you wanna go princess?"

I smiled "I dunno.. I just wanna get out of this lifestyle for awhile"

He nods "your chariot awaits"

Negan pov

Where is she? Her watch would be over already! I'm panicking, I need to find her, we are about to have dinner and she is nowhere to be found.

"Dad, when's mom coming back?"

I shrug "soon, hopefully"

We sat in silence, I watched her flip through a magazine, and finally I had enough, I need to find her! Now!

I stand up and walk to the side of the bed, I pull Lucille out of hiding and swing her over my shoulder.

Katherine's eyes widened in fear at me "what.. What's that?" She asks pointing at me.

I instantly regret pulling her out in front of Katherine "it's not a toy Katherine. I don't ever want to see you holding this, ever." I state.

She nods "okay"

I make my way to the door

"Where are you going?" Katherine's small voice asks.

"To go find your mother. Do not leave, and I'll get you a present.. Or something" I state

I walk out of the room and shut the door. I speed walk throughout the hallways and make my way outside to see a huge crowd gathered around the main entrance

"What the hell is going on?" I shout.

"The gate has been breached, infected were in.. Someone got bit!" Someone screams back from the back end of the circle, my heart began to race.

I searched the crowd to find Lucy.

"No no no!" I run up to the circle and try to get in the middle, I see blood splattered all over Lucy

"Negan?" Lucy asked.

"Lucy! Are you bit?"

"I.. I don't know! Nathan and I were just.. He's dead Negan!" She was a hysterical mess.
