Twisted tale of Negan

Rick agreed for us to move into Alexandria, under force obviously.

Rick and I haven't spoken to each other and i am okay with that. It's foolish of him to get the impression i want to be more then whatever the hell we even were, right?

Katherine is growing up faster then i even imagined, for a seven year old in the apocalypse, she is so cute though.

She makes little runs with Negan, nothing too big. I won't allow it yet he gets angry sometimes but oh well..

In Alexandria we have our own house, and Katherine gets her own room. Rick was being thoughtful and allowed us a house with about four bedrooms. So thats cool

My job is to work with rationing food. In the schedule Rick never puts me on watch, which sucks because i cant see the real world anymore.

I'm walking into the food garage when I'm stopped by Maggie.

"Hey there" she smiles sweetly.

"Hey you how are things?"

I'm glad she doesn't hold me accountable for Glenn's death anymore, she is such a good person when she opens up to you.

"Oh nothing much, just coming by for a can of beans" she holds her pregnant revealing belly. She is so cute, her hair is just now growing longer.

I walk over to the shelf "well we have all kinds, sugar which one?"

She browses the shelf with me "maybe pinto?" she picks up the can and examines the label "yeah, pinto will do"

I cock an eyebrow at her "picky today, aren't we?" i joke.

"Well, I'm having Rick and them over for dinner tonight, and i just want to make them a decent meal"

I nod and walk over to the boxes and start shelving cans when i notice Maggie staring at me.

"Okay what is it?" i laugh.

She smiles "would you and Negan like to come over?"

I'm shocked she would even ask that. She dislikes Negan very much, i know she doesn't trust him yet she wants him in her home. That's a very sweet gesture.

I shrug "depends on what his plan is tonight, plus with katherine.."

"Ah come on! I love that little girl" Maggie pleads.

"Oh alright" i say giving in.

She quickly hugs me, i stand there awkwardly and hesitantly hug her back.

She lets go

"and besides, us pregnant chicks gotta stick together"

She laughs "true, well I'll see you later"

I wave.

She walks off and here i go back to stalking the shelfs.

Its very nice of Maggie to invite us tonight..

"Mom! My doll is missing!" Katherine yells as soon as i walk in.

I sigh and set down my bag "I'll be right there"

I walk around our house in search for Negan "hey baby? Have you seen daddy?" i call out to her.

"No! I think he is working?" she yells coming down the stairs.

She stands there and smiles at me. "Look mommy! My tooth"

I kneel down and examine it "hmm. Looks like its coming out" i poke it to see it moves slightly.
