Twisted tale of Negan

It started storming hard after he left, I'm honestly very concerned for him. What if he gets caught by a group? Like some sort of karma for what he did to Ricks group?

Thunder crackled and lightening sparked outside of our window.

I stare at it, and get lost, just then my bedroom door opens slightly.
"Mom?" she asks.

"Yeah?" i face the door.

Katherines full body comes into play, and it looks like she has been crying.

"Whats wrong honey?" i hold out my arms to her, just like Negan would do to me when he knew i needed a hug.

Katherine runs into them "why did daddy leave?!" she screeched out.

I cringe and just hold her. Why did he leave? Thats a good ass question. I could tell her the truth, that he left because I'm a crazy hormonal bitch, or the fact that I've basically destroyed his life.

But I'll go with the lighter version "he just needed some air." i say softly.

"Were you guy's fighting last night?"

I smile, knowing what she is referencing to. I turn red, boy is this awkward.

"What? Why do you think that?"

"Because i heard you screaming. And daddy was making noises too" her innocent voice says into my chest.

I laugh out "No, baby we weren't fighting.. We were playing."

And with that i let her go and laid back down.

She crawled into bed next to me, where Negan would usually sleep. I listened to her talk to herself, and soon she was out.

I decided this would be the perfect time to slip out of the house and take a little walk, considering i needed to clear my head, and to re cooperate

I changed into jeans and a tshirt and made my way to the door. I walked out to see very few people walking around. Which wasn't new.

I slip my hands into my pockets and walk nonchalantly throughout Alexandria, examining the garden that we had, it reminded me of Negan and how he proposed at the gardens. Not that the garden we have here could ever match up to the ones there. But, it'll do. I picked a few of them and made my way to the front gates to see Sasha on duty.

"Hey there" she called out from the top.

I climbed up the ladder and stood next to her "hey"

She sets down the gun and turns toward me "do you mind watching for a minute or two? I really have to pee"

I smile "course not" i pick up the heavy gun that made me have more confidence having it.

"Thanks!" she exclaimed jumping off.

She made her way off of the ladder and out of sight she disappeared.

I examined the road before me, the never ending road, that Negan possibly is still on.

I shrug and continue to look out, quite bored i start whistling a tone. Minding my own business.

When a figure comes into play. I aim the gun up and examine the person closely.

They notice my eyes on them and throw their hands up in surrender.

"Who are you?" i raise the gun and aim it at their head.

"I'm Derek.." the man calls out.

Just than Sasha is coming back "who the hell are you talking to?" she asks worried.

"Open the gate" i say calmly.

"Rick told me not to open the gates for anyone but neg-"

"Open the damn gates now Sasha!" i shout.

She hops down and opens the gates.

I follow closely behind her and as soon as the man set foot into Alexandria i knocked him on his ass. And straddled him to check him for weapons.

I patted him down

"Is this really necessary? You're the one that invited me in" the man says annoyed.

I slap myself mentally and stand back up, realizing this man doesnt mean harm i lighten up a bit.

"Who's that?" Derek points behind me

I look to see Rick strutting our way, obviously pissed about something. Probably the fact i just let someone in.. Oh well.

I place my hands on my hips. Rick eyes me and then Derek. He pulls out his Python and aims it at Derek's head "how did you find us?"he growled.

I tensed up and looked to Derek, i have to admit he is extremely attractive. But who am i kidding? Not like i can actually do something about it.

"It's a big fucking gate in the middle of nowhere, not that hard to spot sunshine" Derek says shooting back attituide.

I smiled in amusement which Rick narrowed his eyes at me "you think this is funny? Putting all of our lives in danger.. Your daughters life, mine.."

"Rick, how much harm can he really be? I've patted him down and everything. Back off" i whine.

Rick shakes his head and looks back to Derek he eyes him and sighs out "if anything happens, just know I'm blaming you personally. And since you have so much faith in him, he can house with you."

He struts away

"Wait! Come on Rick you know Negan won't like that!" i yelled after him.

He turns and laughs "that's not my problem.." and turned back around.

Rick has been acting like a ass to me. I guess that's to be expected, i did tease him a little bit, time and time again.

I look to Derek who is starring Rick down "he seems like an ass"

I smiled "you haven't even seen half of it." "cmon"

I lead him throughout Alexandria, and by all of the houses. I walked by Maggie's and she was sitting on the front porch, she looked confused to see a new person. She waddled over to us and smiled nervously at me.
"Everything okay?" she asks cautiously.

"Yeah, this is Derek. A new member." i state proudly.

Maggie furrows her eyebrows together "and Rick just let you right in?" she asks more directed towards Derek.

Derek shrugged. "He did point a gun to my head"

Maggie nodded "Can we talk later Lucy?"

"Sure thing"

We continued walking to Negan and i's house. I walk in to see Katherine on the floor playing dolls. She looks up to me and looks at Derek confused.

"Who's that?" she asks innocently.

Derek walks towards her "Hi there, I'm Derek"

"And he is going to be staying here for awhile" i add walking into the kitchen

Katherine ran after me "Okay i know you told me not to run, but mommy! Daddy isn't going to like this.."

I instantly feel guilt "yeah? Well. He left us. I didn't leave him."
