The next day, I entered the tunnel after a long day of school. Weirdly, Ryder didn't walk with me today. He skipped A & D altogether and told me he would meet me in the tower.
I emerged from the tunnel and entered the room, turning the lights on.
"Hey babe."
I looked up. Babe? As soon as I saw him, my heart sank. Logan was standing in the middle of the room.
"Get out!" I screamed. "RYDER?! RYDER WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"Oh shut up."
I backed up. "What did you do to Ryder?"
"You don't have to worry about him anymore," Logan said, smirking. "He's dead."
