Myomectomy is a type of surgery used to remove uterine fibroids. Your doctor might recommend this surgery if your fibroids are causing symptoms such as pelvic pain, heavy periods, irregular bleeding, frequent urination.
A myomectomy can be done one of three ways:
Abdominal myomectomy lets your surgeon removes your fibroids through an open surgical cut in your lower belly.
Laparoscopic myomectomy allows your surgeon toremove your fibroids through several small incisions. This may be done robotically. It's less invasive and recovery is faster than with abdominal myomectomy.
Hysteroscopic myomectomyrequires your surgeon to use a special scope to remove your fibroids through your vagina and cervix.

"What are you doing here?" Nanlaki ang mga mata nang makita niya ako.
Looks like he was genuinely surprised by my sudden visit. I told him I was coming back, didn't I? So why the shocked face? Well technically, I told him that I would be back but I didn't really tell him that I would be visiting him anytime soon.
"Surprise? I guess?" I cocked my head sideward.
"I really thought you would only be back after two days. God, I missed you!" He pulled me into a deserted hallway and gave me a bone-crushing hug. I tapped his back for him to loosen his hold on me.
"I sent you a message during that torturous car ride. Sabi ko pauwi na ako. Masyado ka na yatang busy at hindi mo binabasa ang messages mo." Naiirita kong sabi habang nakataas ang isa kong kilay sa kanya. I know he is very busy with his residency at halata yun sa hitsura niya dahil may eyebags na siya at mukhang hindi na siya nakapag-ayos masyado ng buhok niya. Nevertheless, he is still handsome at hindi ko masisisi ang med students at mga nurses kung may gusto sila sa kanya.
Kahit pa ganoon siya kabusy, can't he even spare two minutes to read one message and send a reply? Nakakainis ha.
"I guess I haven't opened my messages since yesterday morning. Sorry baby, I was just so busy with everything". Sa paraan ng pagsagot niya para siyang pagod na pagod at ilang araw nang walang tu
"So how will we plan our wedding if you are always this busy? Dress fitting, food tasting, selection of invitations and even venue checks? Will I be doing that on my own?" Alam ko namang hindi niya ako iiwan sa akin lang ang lahat ng pagpaplano ng kasal namin. I just questioned him out of curiosity. Gusto ko lang malaman kung ano ang magiging reaction niya.
"An naman. I don't want us to fight over this. I'm really sorry I was just to swamped in work. Of course I will always find time for you. Just tell me if you need me and I will make a way. Give me a schedule for the things we need to settle so I can ask for a modification on the duty rotation". He kissed my forehead and started walking backwards slowly.
"See you at home! I'll be sending you my work schedule later." He added and sped off towards the end of the hallway towards the surgical wards. Nakakainis talaga. Hindi man lang ako niyakap. Pabayaan na nga lang at baka nga naman busy talaga or masyado lang conscious sa katawan dahil nga nasa duty pa at kung saan-saan naexpose.
I went home to freshen up and pack some clothes so I can stay over at Terrence's unit. I packed a few nighties, shorts and a few sets of underwear to use while I am there. No need to bring any shirt. I prefer using his shirts anyway. I still have some clothes left in his unit so there's no actual need to bring more but I just wanted to invade his closet space like the annoying girlfriend that I am.
